Babies Three

Very early UK emo band who toured the UK in 1999 with Rydell and Sunfactor. They recorded 3 full length albums and appeard on various compilations and 7" on the Scene Police, Year 3000 and Engineer record labels. After 2 European tours and a new harder direction change on the mini-album "The Luzhin Defence" in 2002 the band broke up to form Candy Sniper and The Boss.

The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die are an atmospheric emo / indie rock band from Willimantic, CT. The band was formed in 2009 and has undergone several lineup changes since its inception. TWIABP's now 8 piece lineup writes the songs collaboratively and often on-the-spot with vocal duties shared by 4 members. The band's sound is easily compared to second wave post-emo indie rock bands of the late 90s and early 2000s and their atmospheric moments are often tagged as "post-rock.

Shark Bait

One of the many artists/bands that uses the name Shark Bait is a screamo/folk/emo band formed in Louisiana. With members of many other local bands Shark Bait have recently released 'Growing Pains,' Still Growing'and a split with Adaje available at their bandcamp. You can find them at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Shark-Bait/108591182530199 A Dutch band that was founded in Haarlem, The Netherlands by bass-player Tim Verwaal and keyboard-player Remon Rijper in 2008. On the internet they found the other bandmembers: Sebastiaan Weerman (guitar), Bas de Keijzer (drums).

Braid

Braid is an American band from Urbana, Illinois that formed in 1993. After forming, the band went through several line-up changes but eventually settled on Bob Nanna on vocals and guitar, Todd Bell on bass, Chris Broach on guitar and vocals and Roy Ewing on drums. Roy was replaced in 1997 by Damon Atkinson. In 1999 Braid disbanded and went on to form Hey Mercedes with all band members minus Chris Broach (who went on to form The Firebird Band) and adding Mark Dawursk. The band reformed for a US tour in 2004 and, now that Hey Mercedes are defunct, apparently intend to tour sporadically.

Dowsing

Indie/Emo quintet. Started in summer 2010 in Chicago, IL.
Their first EP 'All I Could Find Was You' is up for download at www.dowsing.bandcamp.com Count Your Lucky Stars has released "All I Could Find Was You" on 7" vinyl in September 2011, a split 7" record with Parker in April 2012, and the band's first full length, "It's Still Pretty Terrible," in July 2012. #FREEGOOEY

Seahaven

Seahaven came together in 2009 as the brainchild of lead singer / songwriter Kyle Soto. Kyle quickly rounded up their line-up with Michael Craver (guitar), Eric FIndlay (drums) and Mike DeBartolo (bass) and released their critically acclaimed debut EP, 'Ghost'. This caught the attention of the buzz punk/indie label, Run for Cover Records (Tigers Jaw, Title Fight, Man Overboard) and the band soon released their debut LP 'Winter Forever' via RFC.

Texas Is the Reason

Texas Is the Reason was a post-hardcore band founded by former Shelter guitarist Norm Arenas and 108 drummer Chris Daly in 1994. A foundational quartet in the post-Sunny Day Real Estate movement of emo music, Texas Is the Reason played melodious but forceful rock music before disbanding in 1997. Norm Arenas (guitar), guitarist for the hardcore Hare Krishna band Shelter, formed Texas Is the Reason with friend and then fellow Hare Krishna devotee Chris Daly (drums), formerly of the band 108, which played music of a similar kind to Shelter's, some time in the early 1990s in New York City.
