The Vindickers

Formed in 2008, The Vindickers sole intent was simply to not be bandless, to 'vindicate' themselves of former break-ups and continue playing music regardless of how popular or fashionable they may or may not be. Soon enough the originals penned by frontman JmeJ became unstoppable, and no longer restricted to inexpensive local studios, a years work was laid out in the rocktastic punk-length debut album 'Before The Fall' with the help of young local music veteran James Gulliver.

Auburn

"Auburn," as you will quickly notice, refers to more than one band. First is an R&B/pop singer who sings "La La La." Most other tracks are from a southern metalcore band of the same name. According to the La La La Songfacts, Auburn Williams was born in Minneapolis to a single mother. She began singing in church and listened to nothing but gospel music as a kid. When she was 13, Auburn began performing with a local all-girl group called Loyal and she continued to work on her songwriting, posting tracks on her MySpace page growing her fanbase the grass-roots way.

Lounge

Smooth jazz inspired vocals to Drum & Bass style grooves, Downbeat, and even soulful electro. Although the word "lounge" has been associated with a certain genre of music, the trio of musicians Marco Drewes, Niels Hesse, and singer Darrin Huss have taken it on as their moniker to redefine it's meaning and present the listener with an audio style and attitude all their own. www.myspace.com/loungeinternational

Colleen Green

Colleen Green always wears sunglasses onstage. Colleen Green is long hair and getting high. Colleen Green's first full-length for Hardly Art, Sock it to Me, is grounded in pure pop. Colleen Green's multi-tracked, emotive vocals take an enormous leap forward, evoking all-time heroes such as Rose Melberg and Tina Weymouth, with every drum-machine-tracked song awash in the dreamy slacker romanticism of California.

This project however was restarted in 2010. Oberst may be better known for his confessional songwriting and storytelling as the lead singer of the popular indie folk band Bright Eyes, but Desaparecidos has a very different flavor.
