Maya is a name of, at least, fourteen artists: 1) A project of Czech vocalist Nory Grundové & composer Darka Krále. Discography: "Stín Andělů" (2003 - aka "Stin andelu"), "Zprávy z budoucnosti" (2004 - aka "Zpravy z budoucnosti") & "Skrývaný" (2007 - aka "Skryvany"). Bohuslav Martinů

Bohuslav Martinů; December 8, 1890—August 28, 1959) was a Czech composer of modern classical music, who was educated in the classic romantic style and deliberately withdrew after the First World War from the previous generation of teachers. He went through a trial period of expressionism and constructivism, and became an admirer of the current technical developments (orchestral sentences Half-time, La Bagarre) and jazz period as well (Kuchyňské revue (Kitchen Revue)). Of all of the post-war avant-garde styles, neo-classicism influenced him the most.

Jitka Charvátová

Jitka Charvátová aka JI started her musical career in the project Fiction of Mejla Hlavsa (ex member Plastic People of the Universe). Later she became a lead singer of the popular electronic dance band Skyline. In Jan 2010 she released her first solo album called Feed My Lion under the Czech electronica label Big Demoiselles. JI herself composed the most of the music on the album Feed My Lion as a reflection on the progressive European musical scene.

Magdalena Kožená

Magdalena Kožená (b. 1973) is a Czech mezzo-soprano. She was born in Brno in 1973. After having studied at the Brno Conservatoire and at the College of Performing Arts in Bratislava, she graduated in 1995. In 1996-97 she was a member of the Vienna Volksoper. Miss Kožená’s recordings include Bach arias, Handel’s Roman Motets and Italian Cantatas and “Messiah” with Marc Minkowski for DG/Archiv, and her first solo recital disc (Dvořák, Janáček and Martinů with Graham Johnson - Gramophone Solo Vocal Award, 2001) for Deutsche Grammophon, with whom she has signed an exclusive contract.

Kill The Dandies!

KILL THE DANDIES! were started by two main Nihilists (of the former international fame of Moimir Papalescu & The Nihilsts), La Petite Sonja /voc., keyb., synth./ and Hank J. Manchini /voc., guit./ with an old-school-punk-rock guitarist Richard Fischer (also of Take Death). The trio was joined by hammering drummer Vratislav Placheta (Green Monster and also of The Nihilists) and a heavy-duty bass man Martin Růžička of the The Ritchie Success.

Entrails

A) Old school death metal band from Sweden. In the vein of the Swedish gods Entombed and Dismember, etc. Started out in the end of 1990 but were never satisfied with their demo recordings and never released anything. The band eventually died out but was resurrected by Jimmy in 2008. In his own words: "I was too nostalgic and said to myself that: Now, many years after the band died, my old songs must be recorded and a demo shall be made, so I started the band again on my own".
