Kev Choice
This Oakland native is an up and coming M.C. as well as an accomplished pianist and musician. He fronts a 10-piece band called "Kev Choice Ensemble" and brings a diversity and creativity to live hip-hop never before seen. He is also a producer and his mostly self-produced album "The Broken Mold" will be released in 2009. He is a conscious m.c. in the veigns of Common and Nas who uses wit and creative lyricism to bring a positive and inspiring message to Hip-Hop.
The Derek Trucks Band
The Derek Trucks Band is a band started by slide guitarist prodigy, Derek Trucks, who began playing guitar and touring with The Allman Brothers Band, as early as eleven years old. Raised partly on tour with them throughout his youth, meeting and playing with famous musicians, Trucks was still unsure about his own future. He resolved to start his own band while still an adolescent. What first began as a side project, and a way for Trucks to explore his own creativity, has evolved into an eclectic band with some of the most talented musicians from the southeastern United States.
Matt Gray
1. Matt Gray , USA, Instrumental music written and performed by matt gray. Acoustic and electric instrumentals in blues, jazz, folk, rock, and others. The cd puzzle was released in the fall of 2006. 2. Matt Gray was a music programmer in the 80s for home computers mostly on the Commodore 64 . One of his most famous tracks was the soundtrack to Last ninja 2 released in 1988. 3. Matt Gray, lead singer and front-man of Prince Polo. Has a solo project titled Matt Gray and the Gray Matts.
The Velvelettes
The Velvelettes were a 60's femal vocal group founded in 1961 by sisters Carolyn and Millie Gill with cousins Bertha Barbee-McNeal and Norma Barbee (both from Flint, Michigan) on the Western Michigan University campus, where they were students. The group signed to Motown Records, but weren't given top priority, as other female vocal groups were attracting audiences and recording hits. While the group awaited their chance at stardom, they recorded backing vocals for more established Motown girl groups, including The Marvelettes, Martha & The Vandellas, and The Supremes.

Mike Gordon
Mike Gordon (filmmaker, photographer, and bassist of Phish) is a dynamic musician with influences as varied as his instrumentation (bass, guitar, banjo, vocals). Also recorded with: Leo Kottke (Albums: Clone and Sixty Six Steps).
Expo '70
EXPO '70 was formed in Los Angeles by Justin Wright as a side-project, while he was playing guitar in Living Science Foundation (Second Nature Recordings; GSL50 Compilation). Initially, the group also included Wright's friend, PK . The pair improvised creating sounds bouncing effect-ridden instruments creating a wide range of textures and moods. EXPO '70's first recording and inception was during PK's project SXBRS recording session, resulting in one of many split releases on PKs' label.
Liquid Gold
Liquid Gold were an English disco group conisting of Ellie Hope (vocals), Syd Twynham (guitar), Ray Knott (bass) and Wally Rothe (drums). Ray Knott and Ellie Hope had met auditioning to play in Babe Ruth, a group that released four albums between 1972 and 1975. After the final album, Kid Stuff, they recruited Wally Rothe and Syd Twynham to form Dream Coupe; after a few shows they signed to Creole Records, a Polo Records subsidiary, and changed their name to Liquid Gold.
