Jneiro Jarel

Jneiro Jarel (born Omar Gilyard) is a Philadelphia-based hip hop producer. Noted for his abstract style, he is also known for his beat-making alias Dr. Who Dat? and his group Shape of Broad Minds, who released both their debut EP and album on Lex Records in the summer of 2007.
Jneiro grew up in Brooklyn, and moved out of the Brownsville section at the age of 5. His mother was in the army, and as a result, he lived in many places (Maryland, Arizona, Georgia, etc.). Finally touching down in Houston, Texas in the mid 80's, where his cousin "DJ Starr" put him on to hip hop at an early age.

Shuttle

Shuttle found a home for his original sounds amongst the underground Boston musical scene. His unique live shows are now all but infamous within the tightly knit Basstown crew. Their all night parties fuel Boston’s underground music culture with Shuttle’s insatiable sounds and the thrill of no tomorrow at the forefront of every show. Shuttle’s music moved beyond the basements and clubs of the Boston scene and receives spins on Britain’s Radio 1.

It all began in 2003. 2007 turned out to be especially successful - that's when Enei released his first record on the Dutch label Fokuz. That's when he also strated producing dubstep, which resulted in the second dubstep vinyl release in Russia, including one solo track and two co-produced tracks with Ka (aka Implex). More releases are coming on the biggest European labels, and more collaborations with producers from all over the world are taking place.

Kool Keith

An original member of New York's pioneers the Ultramagnetic MC's, "Kool" Keith Thornton is best known as a solo rapper. His signature style is stream-of-consciousness lyrical flow and complex vocals, two skills that earn him a perennial nod from the underground community. The average Kool Keith album is peppered with bizarre, disjointed, even delusional or disassociated themes, concepts, and references. Nearly all of his albums incorporate a satirical dislike for more commercialized strains of hip-hop, as well as major record labels.

Tall Black Guy was birthed from humble beginnings in Detroit, MI and homegrown on a diet of Motown, jazz and early hip-hop. Dabrye (pronounced “DAB-ree”) is just one alias of Ghostly artist Tadd Mullinix, who explores with head-nodding beats and saw-tooth bass lines, with a keen eye to forward-thinking production and rhythms. Dabrye has earned considerable praise from both the underground (Jay Dee, Jurassic 5) and the electronic music press, earning him a Next 100 mention from URB in 2002 and praise from publications as diverse as Rolling Stone to The Wire.

Beyond those who already know this, the rest of the electronic music world is catching wind of the 29 year old producer, DJ, promoter and label boss.
