Sister Sin were formed in 2002 in Gothenburg, Sweden. They are a female fronted four piece with a style reminiscent of Guns 'N Roses, L.A Guns and Hanoi Rocks. Sister Sin released various recordings via smaller indie labels. They issued their first non-indie album Switchblade Serenades via Victory Records in October 2008; it reached number 107 on Top Heatseekers in the first week of release in the US.
The music of the Dogs D'Amour can be described as a mixture of The Rolling Stones and Faces style roots rock and Hanoi Rocks style glam punk. Unlike popular bands of the time, who had misogynistic themes, the Dogs D'Amour relies more on romantic themes and poetic style lyrics. Tyla was also a huge fan of Charles Bukowski, and many of his lyrics, delivered with an impelling throaty rasp, were tinged with humorous irony and pathos, reflecting Bukowski's prosaic style.
Kid Ego is a sleaze metal band from York, England. Taking influence from Aerosmith and Motley Crue, they released their vaguely retro debut album "Ignite the Tide" in May 2006 after being together for a little over a year. Recently, the band wrapped up their first US tour, which culminated in preforming at Cruefest Hollywood. In 2007 the band's singer Zakk Taylor, who had performed on the album Ignite The Tide released on Rock Revolution, departed the band and was replaced with new vocalist Henry.
Faster Pussycat is a hard rock band formed in the mid 80's often associated with the glam metal scene, and belonging to the sleaze subgenre along side other late 80's bands like Guns N' Roses, L.A. Guns, and Dangerous Toys. The name Faster Pussycat was taken from a 1965 film called "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" The band achieved moderate success in the early 1990s but disbanded for several years as 80s style rock lost mainstream popularity. The group was formed by brothers, and former Brunette band mates, Johnny (vocals) and Joey Gioeli (guitar). They recruited former Bad English members Neal Schon (guitar, best known for his work in Journey) and Deen Castronovo (drums). Ex Doro and David Lee Roth bassist Todd Jensen rounded out the band.
The Quireboys, originally known as the London Quireboys, are a rock band that started in the late '80s/early '90s, with John Grey (Spike) on vocals, Guy Griffin and Guy Bailey on guitar, Chris Johnstone on piano/keyboard, Nigel Mogg on bass guitar, and Ian Wallace on drums.
