Feeding Fingers

Feeding Fingers is a trio fronted by artist, musician, author and animator, Justin Curfman. The band was founded in 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia, but has since relocated to Germany. Formation (2006) Justin Curfman, an award-winning animator/filmmaker from Atlanta, Georgia. He had written and produced pieces of music that never found a place in any of his films. With support from guitar/bass player, Todd Caras and percussionist, Danny Hunt, Justin Curfman formed a band to rearrange the pieces as songs and play them live.

Battersea

battersea is a band from Tacoma, Washington. They combine a sense of humor and pop elements with the darker sounds of bands like Joy Division, Wolfgang Press and The Smiths. Their debut e.p. was written and recorded by frontman eric reidar who played all the instruments. The band is now made up of eric reidar on guitar and vocals, james tcak on guitar and bass and renee timmer on drums. The band is playing the UK for the first time in September 2009.

Balaam and the Angel

Balaam and the Angel are a gothic rock band formed in Cannock, Staffordshire, England during 1983. The three founding members of the band are Scottish brothers; the Morris brothers (James Morris, Mark Morris and Des Morris). As children in Motherwell, they worked in the entertainment industry as part of a cabaret act. They moved south to England, to Cannock, Staffordshire, where they formed Balaam and the Angel. 1985 saw the band augment their line up with keyboard player ‘Wendy Harper’.

Feud was a Gothic Rock band from Bristol, UK. They released one MLP in 1984 called "To Load But Once" which contained 5 songs. They were Influenced by bands like UK Decay and it's offshoots In Excelsis and Furyo, a great example of this is the artwork of their sole release which reminds a lot of the ones of Furyo's. Steve Street was the producer of their record who seems to be Stephen Street the one who would later produce The Smiths!

sexbeat Formed originally by batcave dj and better badges assistant guru, Hamish (guitars and vocals), la belle Sophie (bass and ID magazine cover), Linzi (USA and drums) and the darling Max Edie (guitars and voice), the band first supported the Meteors in the Lyceum in 1982 and, after losing Max (eventually to World Party), went on to play gigs at the Batcave , the Lyceum with The Gun Club, the Sisters of Mercy, and the Stray Cats, Hammersmith Palais with Killing Joke, Gary Glitter, and the Cramps (as well as a 1983 UK tour with the Cramps)...

Vendemmian

December 2008 UPDATE. VENDEMMIAN reformed for a series of shows in 2008.
The tour took in UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and France. Due to the incredible reaction to the shows it was decided to continue.
The brand new album "One More Time" has just been released. The critics are calling it the best Vendemmian album to date.. The lineup is Mark & Dave (with Danny on bass for the live shows). Shows are now been booked for 2009....

Vex

There are eight artists by the name of Vex. 1) Vex hailed from South East London / north west kent area and formed in the very early eighties, the 'Sanctuary' 12" and 'It's no crime' on the Mortarhate compalation 'Who?What?Why?When?Where?' were their only releases.
Sanctuary was issued on Fight Back, a sublabel of Mortarhate, run by the people of Conflict. Vex also played gigs with Conflict, so they were more associated with the anarchist punk scene than the Batcave fair. But contrary to most anarcho-punk bands from that time, they were not influenced by CRASS or Conflict.
