The (World Famous) Beat Junkies is an American crew made up of eight hip hop DJs. The group comprises J Rocc, DJ Rhettmatic, DJ Babu (of the group Dilated Peoples), DJ Melo-D, "DJ What?!", Mr. Choc, Icy Ice, and Shortkut. They were established in 1992 in Orange County, California by J Rocc.

The Coup is a political hip hop group based in Oakland, California. It formed as a three-member group in 1992 with rappers (Raymond) Boots Riley and E-Roc along with DJ Pam the Funkstress. E-Roc left on amicable terms after the group's second album, but appears on the track "Breathing Apparatus" on The Coup's third album, Steal This Album. The group is now a duo. The Coup, part of the sub-genre of political hip hop, is politically radical and Marxist in their music, and align themselves with other radical hip-hop groups like dead prez.

Dialectix (born 1986) is from the Blue Mountains, Australia. Establishing himself as an essential member of the Sydney scene, Dialectrix broke out in 2004 as part of Triple J Unearthed winners Down Under Beats, realising the skills ever present since his beginnings as an MC at the age of 14.. There are three artists under the title Cheapshot: a dubstep and chiptune artist from Tokyo, a hiphop DJ from California, USA, and a now defunct punk band from Adelaide, South Australia. 1. Cheapshot is strongly influenced by dubstep bass lines, 8-bit music and all things that go BOOM! His chiptune monsters combine dub, uk funky, dubstep and breakbeat.
