Frenzal Rhomb is an Australian punk rock band that formed in 1992, in Sydney, Australia. A long-standing institution in Sydney music scene but with a national and international base of fans, Frenzal have consistently nurtured new generations of young fans through endless touring, festival appearances and all ages shows. With a sound that is most often characterized as 'California pop/punk', the band is overtly left-wing political and known for their humorous, savage and insightful lyrics.
Mother Eel is a metal five piece, that was a four piece, and that formed, firstly, as a three piece in 2003 in the Cold, Dark and Evil, Blue Mountains Australia. The sound has been described as one being gang raped by clowns on smack. They have been well received by audiences with mixed musical tastes, and are praised and otherwise for their crushingly oppressive live performances. Cog was a rock band from Sydney, New South Wales. Cog consisted of members Flynn Gower (lead guitar, lead vocals), Lucius Borich (drums, samples, backing vocals) and Luke Gower (bass guitar and backing vocals), who had been a band since 1998. Flynn Gower and Lucius Borich (the son of renowned Australian blues guitarist Kevin Borich) were friends at their Bondi high school in the 1980s.
