Eastroad have been playing gigs around the U.K. for the past 7 years. There have been a couple of changes in the line-up during that time.
Originally from Lincolnshire the band decided to move south to the capital in the summer of 2006. The band members and their roadie Bart who is from Poland live in a house in South London.
They are the two brothers Rob and Will, who in the long-standing tradition of brothers in bands argue and fight.
Automating is Sasha from Melbourne, Australia. Sifting through the sonic waste and discarded technology left by the roadside of a world speeding too fast into the future. Field recordings, found sound, tape manipulation, noise and effects units. Currently pursuing live and studio created binaural soundscapes and archaic tape based drones. See
