The Maddigans

In the past couple years The Maddigans have worked extremely hard and it's started to pay off. Their recent accomplishments include booking their 7th Canadian tour, 1st ever US tour, being featured on AbsolutePunk, playing Canadian Music Week 2011, and reaching over 13,000 fans on facebook alone. Helen Love

Helen Love are an band from whose music is a combination of and . They were formed by the eponymous Helen Love who claims only to listen to the music of the Ramones, from which she draws inspiration for the band's music. Their music has been covered by the likes of Ash and Tullycraft. Current members are Helen, Sheena and Beth. Past members: Gary Strickland (guitar, 1997).

The Superjesus

Lead singer and main song-writer Sarah McLeod formed the band in late 1994 with guitarist (and her guitar teacher at the time) Chris Tennent, drummer Paul Berryman and bass player Stuart Rudd. They were originally called Hell's Kitchen before changing their name to The Superjesus on the eve of the 1994 Big Day Out in Adelaide. Says Paul Berryman of the name: "It was basically just a piss-take on commonly used words in the 90's.

Sweet Revenge

There are at least two artists known as Sweet Revenge: 1) Sweet Revenge (Korean: ?? ???) are South Korean female indie rock band formed in 2008. The band consists of Kim Mijung (leader, rhythm guitarist), Kim Soyoung (vocalist, lead guitarist), Lee Hwayeon (bassist) and Jang Hyuna (drummer).

Plastiscines

Plastiscines are a female rock band from Saint-Cyr-l'École, France. Katty Besnard, Marine Neuilly and Zazie Tavitian met each other in Mansart High School where they bonded over their love of rock 'n' roll music. After they went to see several gigs together, they decided to form a band. In 2004, they met Louise Basilien at a Libertines gig, and she then became the bassist. Et voila, the band was complete : Katty (singer & guitar), Marine (guitar), Louise (bass) and Zazie (drums).

Odin Dragonfly

Odin Dragonfly are an acoustic duo made up of Heather Findlay (vocals, acoustic guitars, penny whistles and percussion) and Angela Gordon (vocals, piano and flute). They formed the band in 2005 as side-project of Mostly Autumn at a time when both Angela and Heather were still members of that band. Their music relies heavily on vocal harmonies and defies easy pigeonholing, but they have cited Kate Bush, Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos and Sandy Denny as influences.

Spazzys

Spazzys are an all-girl punk band formed in 2000 in Melbourne, Australia. They received strong support from Melbourne community radio station 3RRR, before being picked up by popular youth radio station Triple J. They released their debut album Aloha! Go Bananas! in 2004, with singles Paco Doesn't Love Me, Hey Hey Baby and My Boyfriend's Back all charting. They are a constant in the live music scene in Melbourne and have toured nationally several times, often playing festivals such as the Big Day Out.
