Carnal Decay started in 2002 as a sideproject to do some Death Metal. After a couple shows the band flew over to New Jersey to record their first MCD "Carnal Decay" at Rob Grenoble's Watermusic Recorders Studio. Billy Milano (SOD, MOD), right living in the same house, was soon convinced to make the production and mix of two songs for the MCD. After a couple line-up changes the band improved a lot and recorded 3 songs for a 3-way split called "Grotesque First Action" with Prejudice (Bel) and Infant Bile (UK) which was released in the end of 2005 through Grotesque Productions (Spain).

Originating from the Montreal area, this group first appeared in 1992, when it was called Necrosis; in the same year it was reincarnated under the name of Cryptopsy. With just a demo called Ungentle Exhumation and then the album Blasphemy Made Flesh (1994), the group acquired a solid reputation on the international scene. Their release of None So Vile in 1996 was the first burst of brilliance in their career.

THE ROTTED’s subject matter reflects the times we live in. They write about the things that matter to them: real life events, good and bad times the band have had together, drink and drug abuse, the state of society, battles with the authorities and the ongoing struggle for freedom.
