Zespół został założony przez Wojtka Oleksiaka (dr) i Stefana Nowakowskiego (b) w 2008 r. Po kilku próbach, paru koncertach i przeglądach do składu dołączył Michał Załęski (k), a następnie Michał Przerwa – Tetmajer (g). W tymże naszpikowanym muzykami z Wydziału Jazzu na Bednarskiej w Warszawie składzie nagraliśmy swoje drugie demo – efekt do posłuchania powyżej. Qua is Melbourne based Cornel Wilczek who started the project in 2001. It started with an invite to play with Pretty Boy Crossover in Melbourne, Australia. From the pressure of sorting out a live set .. and finishing songs, something became apparent - the songs actually worked. Over the next year of live performances the album "Forgetabout" was formed and eventually released in August 2002. The next 2 years saw Qua becoming a regular in the Australian live scene.

Originally formed in 1996 the present line up has been stable since 2001. The Pattern Theory were originally founded in Leeds, England in 2006 by Carl Schilde, Lukas Creswell-Rost and James Yates. After the release of our first EP, "EP1", we set out on a nationwide UK tour in September 2007. Tracks from this EP have been played on BBC's Radio One and on stations in the USA, Australia and Germany. This has led us to higher-scale gigs, such as playing together with Damo Suzuki (Can) and supporting American bands such as The Drift and Icy Demons in Germany. James also plays drums in The Declining Winter.

Billy Mahonie is a rock band and not an Irish folk singer. Formed in London in the autumn of 1997 they play instrumental rock music. Although lumped in with the numerous jazz beard wearing post rock bands of the late 90’s, Billy Mahonie did much more than gaze at their collective navels and noodle around some horridly lame progressive jazz riff for a half hour. Mahonie’s music is indeed infused with elements of heavy rock, hardcore punk, jazz and folk but the emphasis is defiantly squared on ROCK and cathartic emotive and super energetic guitar music.
