Natural Self

Natural Self is a Brighton based producer who makes excellent, funky music. He also goes by the name of keno-1 depending on type of sounds he's making. He is related to tru thoughts. Natural Self is the ongoing project of Nathaniel Pearn, aka producer Keno-1. Pearn was originally inspired by the rhythmic force of The Bomb Squad's productions for Public Enemy, and hip hop was the primary influence on his first forays into music. His hometown of Oxford was just near enough to London to pick up Tim Westwood's then seminal Capital Rap Show floating across the airwaves.

Guitarist, composer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist born in Brazil, EdO Portugal migrates to London, UK in 2003 where he's been living since then. Ben Mono

Ben Mono – ambitious multi-player, producer, remixer and in demand DJ from Munich – has built himself a solid reputation in the world of advanced diskotainment during the past years. (...)It was 1992 at the Berklee School of Music, and a few high school summer session kids exploded onto the Boston jazz scene with killer chops and bottomless energy. Drawn together at the altar of funky soul, Eric Krasno, Sam Kininger, Adam Deitch, Erick Coomes, Jeff Bhasker, and Ryan Zoidis began taking over local clubs and jam nights on borrowed sound equipment. Brash and precocious, the guys always got what they needed: "Let us borrow your gear." "Let us play one more tune." "Let us crash on your couch." Thus Lettuce ("Let us...") was born, and the funky gospel found another apostle.

Laurent de Wilde

Laurent De Wilde, the Mid-Atlantic piano player of the year, is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure. This school and a few others like it are called Les Grandes Ecoles and they are comparable to the Ivy League. They produce the elite in this country. And so it seemed appropriate to ask De Wilde: "What's a nice guy like you doing in a métier like this?" He replied with a very American have-a-nice-day croon: "It seemed like a good idea at the time."

Playgroup

There are, at least, three artists known as Playgroup. 1) A pseudonym of London, UK electroclash / electro house producer & graphic designer Trevor Jackson (aka UNDERDOG). Jackson also ran, the now defunct, Output Recordings. Discography: Make It Happen! Kev Choice

This Oakland native is an up and coming M.C. as well as an accomplished pianist and musician. He fronts a 10-piece band called "Kev Choice Ensemble" and brings a diversity and creativity to live hip-hop never before seen. He is also a producer and his mostly self-produced album "The Broken Mold" will be released in 2009.
