Julian Rachlin

Julian Rachlin is a Lithuanian-born violinist and violist. Rachlin, who is Jewish, was born in Vilnius on December 8, 1974 and immigrated in 1978 with his musician parents to Austria. In 1983, he entered the Vienna Conservatory and studied violin in the Soviet tradition with Boris Kuschnir, while also receiving private lessons from Pinchas Zukerman. His career as a child prodigy began with his first public concert in 1984.

Tokyo String Quartet

The Tokyo String Quartet (東京クヮルテット?) is an international string quartet.
The group formed in 1969 at the Juilliard School of Music. The founding members attended the Toho Gakuen School of Music[1] in Tokyo, where they studied with Professor Hideo Saito. Soon after its formation the Quartet won First Prizes at the Coleman Competition, the Munich Competition and the Young Concert Artists International Auditions. This resulted in a recording contract with Deutsche Grammophon.

Jennifer Koh

Jennifer Koh is an American Violinist, born to Korean parents. Koh is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory as well as the Curtis Institute and was silver medalist in the 1994 Tchaikovsky Competition. She has performed extensively with such orchestras as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic, Czech Philharmonic, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Saint Louis Symphony, and Cleveland Orchestra and is an advocate of music education for children. She currently plays the 1727 Ex Grumiaux Ex General DuPont Stradivari.

Tiger Moth

Tiger Moth is an English country dance band originally formed in 1983 by Rod Stradling shortly after leaving the Old Swan Band. In addition to Stradling, the original members were guitarist Ian A. Anderson (of Hot Vultures fame), hammered dulcimer player Chris Coe and bass guitar and banjo player and vocalist Maggie Holland (also of Hot Vultures). Later they were joined by electric guitar and synthesizer player Jon Moore, drummer/percussionist John Maxwell, and keyboards and melodeon player Ian Carter.

Vadim Repin

Vadim Repin (born Novosibirsk, Western Siberia, 31 August 1971) is a Russian violinist. In his youth Repin studied with Zakhar Bron and was revered throughout Russia as a child prodigy. At the age of 17, he became the youngest winner of the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition in Brussels, the world's premier violin competition. Vadim Repin played under such leading conductors as Sir Yehudi Menuhin, Pierre Boulez, Riccardo Chailly, Charles Dutoit, Michael Tilson Thomas, Valery Gergiev, James Levine, Kurt Masur, Sir Simon Rattle, Esa-Pekka Salonen, and Mstislav Rostropovich.
