The Maccabees

The Maccabees are an indie rock band from Brighton, England. Debuting in 2004 with the You Make Noise, I Make Sandwiches EP (released on Haircut Records) they scored a minor indie hit in 2006 with the post-punk influenced single Latchmere (released on Fierce Panda Records) before inking a deal with the Polydor imprint (and former home of The Cure) Fiction Records. The band released their debut album Colour It In on the 14th May 2007.

Alberta Cross

Alberta Cross are a folk rock band created by song-writing partners Petter Ericson Stakee & Terry Wolfers in London’s East End.
The band also includes Petter’s brother John Alexander Ericson (a solo artist in his own right) on organ and Seb Sternberg on drums. Petter grew up listening to folk and blues, traveling from an early age with his singer-songwriter father between Sweden and England before settling in London 7 years ago.

Annasaid

Annasaid started playing music in January 2005, since then Annasaid have been through many changes. Annasaid started playing catchy mainstream pop/rock music in danish, but now it's Alternative rock pumping through the amps. Annasaid are settled in Aarhus, the second largest city in Denmark. Annasaid are: Martin Sahlertz (Guitar & Vocals), Mathias Pedersen Smidt (Guitar, back. vox), Jesper Jensen (Bass) and Johan Sylvest (Drums)

Valdez

Valdez are a political punk band from Bristol, UK. Forming in 2001, frontman Chris Valdez is the only consistent member after many line-up changes. They have released split 7"'s with Electric Frankenstein and Bad Blood, an EP named 'Rock n Roll Tyranny' and the album 'Exception Becomes the Rule'.

The Cruel Sea

The Cruel Sea is a multi-ARIA Award winning 90s Australian rock/blues outfit. Originally an instrumental band focused on surf sounds, the addition of vocalist Tex Perkins (also a member of The Beasts Of Bourbon and a solo artist) proved an inspired decision. Combining the charismatic Perkins with the highly talented musicians created an unstoppable force through much of the 90s. Members of the band continue to perform, though with the exception of Perkins, most activity is fairly low key.

Black Cab

Formed in 2003 Melbourne band Black Cab is singer and programmer Andrew Coates and guitarist James Lee and features live and recorded performances from a number of well known Australian musicians including drummer Richard Andrew (Registered Nurse, Underground Lovers, Crow, Princess 1.5), bassist Anthony Paine (High Pass Filter, Hired Guns), programmer Steve Law (Zen Paradox), and guitarist Alex Jarvis (Amplifier Machine, Alex Jarvis Band). Black Cab's sound is a blend of rock and electronics with shades of Europe and America in the '70's.

Rocky Votolato

Rocky Votolato is an American musician. He was born in rural Texas in 1978, though was raised in the Pacific Northwest. When his former band Lying on Loot disbanded in 1996, Rocky Votolato, along with friends Rudy Gajadhar (drums) and Andrew Hartley (bass), started playing under the name Waxwing. Rocky's younger brother Cody (The Blood Brothers) soon joined the band on second guitar, and the band recorded their debut 7" for Henry's Finest Recordings. In 1999, Second Nature Recordings released their first full-length, entitled 'For Madmen Only'.

Metric

Metric is a new wave/indie rock band that was formed in 1998 in New York City, United States. They are currently based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The band consists of Emily Haines (vocals, keyboards), James Shaw (guitar), Josh Winstead (bass) and Joules Scott-Key (drums).
Their debut album, Grow Up and Blow Away, was recorded in 2001, but the official release was delayed for years by their record label.
