White Fence

White Fence's trippy, distortion-laced, psychedelic pop-influenced tunes (sounding, in other words, something along the lines of a warped cassette tape featuring The Left Banke or The Merry-Go-Round) are the brainchild of Timothy Presley (also a member of the like-minded groups Strange Boys and Darker My Love). The project's self-titled debut was released on the Woodsist label in the spring of 2010. For the project's next release, White Fence Is Growing Faith , Presley didn't change much. The January 2011 album follows the same sometimes goofy, always trippily tuneful template of the debut.

Dead Pixels

Dead Pixels. Five black spots on the bright screen of the city.
A new band from very diverse backgrounds including Egypt, France, Denmark and the UK.
Enigmatic lead singer, Danish Lone Blomhoj, is something of a young Bjork; beguiling and charming, her esoteric voice is one moment soft and the next minute escalating into full throttle octave-hopping.
They give pop a darker, sexier new sensibility, admirably avoiding the usual sonic pigeonholes and playing music like its all that matters.

Love Is All

Gothenburg, Sweden, 2005 Swedish indie pop/rock and former members of sunshine twee pop Girlfrendo. Post-Punk-ish in sound with distorted sax, reviving the work of The Slits and The Pop Group and newer groups such as Life Without Buildings along the lines of Kleenex and X-Ray Spex while still keeping some indie-pop aesthetics. They have a constantly growing fanbase and have a reputation as having some very obsessive gig-going fans.

Researches begun years ago, diggin’ dusty vinyl crates for obscure samples. The discovery of Italian '60s and '70s soundtracks was a crucial point; from that moment on nothing sounded as good and interesting as electrifying tracks from exploitation movies.

Current Swell

The members of Current Swell no longer live together under a single roof — as they did years ago,
when the group first came together as a unit — but the bond between the four friends is stronger than
ever. Touring the world for the better part of five years, from Brazil to Australia, often has that effect. Current Swell’s years of experience on the road can be heard — and felt — in the nooks and crannies

Mae
