Airborne Toxic Event

This Airborne Toxic Event band came from Brisbane, Australia. They operated between 1990-1991. The most significant thing about this outfit is a decision to play without drums. Use of early model digital samplers (Roland S-50, Casio FZ-1) also set this band apart from guitar oriented acts that dominated the Brisbane scene about that time. ATE also projected films onto the stage during performances to add to the visuals. Not many people liked it.....

Labrinth

Timothy McKenzie, better known by stage alias Labrinth, is a British rapper, singer-songwriter and producer signed to Simon Cowell's Syco music label. He rose to national fame in 2010 with his chart-topping collaboration with Tinie Tempah - Pass Out - and his following #2 hit Frisky. Let The Sun Shine, Labrinth's debut solo single, was released on September 27th 2010 and debuted at #3 on the UK Singles Chart after a highly publicised chart battle with long-time collaborator Tinie Tempah. His debut album, currently untitled, is projected for release later this year.

Bonnie Raitt

Bonnie Raitt, (born November 8, 1949) is an American blues and R&B singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born in Burbank, California, the daughter of Broadway musical star John Raitt. Raitt began playing guitar at an early age, something not a lot of her high school girlfriends did. "I had played a little at school and at camp," she later recalled in a July 2002 interview. "My parents would drag me out to perform for my family, like all parents do, but it was a hobby—nothing more...I think people must wonder how a white girl like me became a blues guitarist.

Alison Limerick

Alison Limerick (born c. 1959 in London, England) is an English singer.
She began her music career as a backing vocalist in the mid-80s after attending the London Contemporary School of Dance. In 1989 made a brief appearance as an African sorceress in Bob Rafelson's film Mountains of the Moon. She is best known for her 90s club anthems, her most successful and best known track being "Where Love Lives", which was originally a massive club success in 1991 and top ten smash when remixed in 1996.

SOHO

Soho is a pop trio from England, consisting of the sisters, Jacqueline (Jacqui) Soho and Pauline Soho, with Timothy London. Other members of the group over the years have been Dukie D (original programmer and electro-visionary), Liam Gillick (now a well known artist - Liam added live bites from vinyl at early gigs), Eds Chesters (now of The Bluetones), Leigh Gorman (ex Bow Wow Wow) and Barry Smith (of art school pranksters Add N To X). Also, for a while, Bob and Henry Morris who previously played with the trio when they were known as Groovalax.

Barbara Tucker

Ms. Barbara Tucker was raised in full energy in good old Brooklyn, New York.
