Lauhaus

Lauhaus (Laurens Lanting) is an Amsterdam based dj/producer who has been active in the Dutch techno scene for 10 years now. Late 2004 Lauhaus started the “Polder” project together with David Labeij, which hasn’t been without succes. April 2008 their first album is released on Shindoe’s Intacto label. Next to this he is also one of the members of the 6 men laptop collective “Amsterdam 661” (other members: David Labeij, Kabale und Liebe, Julien Chaptal, Quazar MG and Boris Werner).

The final waves of Timo’s set lapping against the effortlessly cool crowd at Leeds’ Mission mark another chapter in his ascension from unknown anybody to underground somebody. He’s just finished recording DJ Mag’s December cover mount CD, mixing funk infested b-lines, progressive, filtered synth lines and wigged-out, stripped back percussion with a nonchalant disregard for any restrictive pigeonholes.

Barry Harris

Barry Harris (born December 15, 1929) is an American bebop jazz pianist and educator. Born in Detroit, Michigan, on December 15, 1929, Barry Harris was influenced by Art Tatum, Coleman Hawkins, Bud Powell, Charlie Parker and Thelonious Monk. Harris left Detroit for New York City in 1960. Harris has played with Cannonball Adderley, Illinois Jacquet, Coleman Hawkins, Dexter Gordon, and Max Roach. As a lead artist, he has recorded over 14 albums.

Mr. Lif

Mr. Lif (born Jeffrey Haynes) is a Boston rapper who is currently signed to New York independent label Definitive Jux. Besides his solo career, Lif is also a member of the hip hop group The Perceptionists with long-time friends and collaborators Akrobatik and DJ Fakts One. Mr. Lif grew up in the neighbourhood of Brighton in Boston, MA. For two years he attended Colgate University, dropping out after becoming enamored with the hip hop music being produced at the time.
