Skillz (formerly Mad Skillz, born Donnie Shaquan Lewis in Richmond, Virginia) is an African-American rapper. Known as a talented freestyle rapper, Skillz has not received widespread acclaim outside of the community, but within it is considered one of its best performers. He first made a name for himself by finishing in second place in a national freestyle competition in 1995, which resulted in a recording contract with Atlantic Records. Skillz' Atlantic debut, From Where???, and its single, The Nod Factor, were released in 1996, but sank without a trace.

The Bastards of Fate

The Bastards of Fate formed in 2006, and toured for almost 5 years before finishing their first LP, called "Who's a Fuzzy Buddy?" which was released in March 2012 on This Will Be Our Summer records. The album has received mostly positive, though sometimes baffled coverage from outlets such as Vice, Consequence of Sound, Drowned In Sound and Clash, as well as hype from Everett True's Collapse Board, which has featured the band on numerous occasions.

Ann Beretta

Ann Beretta is a punk band from Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 1996 by Rob Huddleston, Leer, Chris and Russ (Leer and Chris later left) after the break up of Inquisition. Leer went on to form the band Sixer. This band plays straightforward punk with small doses of rockabilly and country mixed into their sound.
Donovan Greer replaced Matt Bedford who replaced Leer and Chris as bass player and back up vocals
The band continues to play and tour to this day.

Farewell Atlantis

That was just the case when Farewell Atlantis, formerly For The Love Of, frontman/screamer Andrew Carter approached lead guitarist Dave Barker in early 2009. It seemed Andrew had an epiphany while on a trip to Chicago after leaving his former band. Andrew had one image in mind, create good morale hardcore music to the fullest.

Pusha T (born Terrence Thornton on May 14, 1977 in Bronx, NY) is a recording artist, occasional actor, and one half of the critically acclaimed duo Clipse, which formed in 1992 from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is also the co-founder and co-CEO of Re-Up Records along with his brother Gene "Malice" Thornton, the other half of Clipse. He has since relocated to Norfolk, Virginia where he and his brother were raised. In September 2010 he announced that he has signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D.
