Soundgarden

Soundgarden is a Seattle rock band who helped to define the sound that came to be called . Despite starting years earlier, and having a sound that more closely resembled Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin than their contemporaries, they are usually considered one of the "big four" of the '90s Seattle grunge bands, along with Alice in Chains, Nirvana and Pearl Jam. The band was formed in 1984 by Chris Cornell (vocals, and originally drums) and Hiro Yamamoto (bass), to be joined later by Kim Thayil (guitar) and Scott Sundquist (drums).

(I) A British Progressive Rock band (II) A Psytrance musician (III) A Funeral Doom Metal band from Russia (IV) A three-piece Progressive/Psychedelic Extreme Metal band from Australia. I: QUASAR was formed in 1979 by founder Keith Turner. They found themselves to be amongst a movement of British bands during the early 1980s, including Marillion, Pendragon, Twelfth Night, Solstice and Pallas, that continued in the progressive rock style created by 1970s bands such as Genesis and Yes.

There are at leaset 2 artists who use the name Grail. 1.) Just ignore the Rod Stewart production credit and you will find a crazy Prog/Psych album.
Connected to the great 60's freakbeatsters 'the Game'.
Released in 1971 but recorded in 1970 and released in germany only, you can tell the
quality of the acid was still good then. This contains classical and eastern moves mixed with Psych and Prog elements.

Primitive Graven Image

Biography Primitive Graven Image was formed in 2006 by guitarists and brothers Rob and Luke Lehane aka Ljosalfur and Dokkalfur, out of a love for the traditional black metal style. Immortal, Darkthrone and Emperor were the flavour of the day and a 6 track demo of spontaneous, infectious blackness was swiftly kicked into shape.

Within 2 months, the band were offered a deal and signed to Pennsylvania based Open Grave Records, who released the band's demo to the press as a sign of things to come.

Ex Deo

Ex Deo is a Canadian metal band formed in 2008 in Montreal, Quebec, a new Roman themed death metal group led by Maurizio Iacono (Kataklysm) released their debut album Romulus to the world on June 19, 2009 (Europe) and June 30, 2009 (North America) via Nuclear Blast Records. The album was recorded with producer (and Kataklysm guitarist) Jean-Francois Dagenais (Misery Index, Despised Icon, Malevolent Creation).
