Magpyes

Magpyes started out as a 3-piece drum machine grind band (then called The Magpyes), in which time they self released a demo, a split cd, an EP and “The True Magpyes”, a black metal covers cd. With the addition of a drummer in 2008, they slowly began to incorporate more black metal into their sound. In January 2009, the band became known as “Magpyes”, also recruiting a new drummer. They have a 4 way split with The Atrocity Exhibit/Jesus Of Spazzareth/Reltih out this spring and their first full-length “The Laughing Medusa” is due to be recorded around summertime.

Slaughter Denial

Four italian boys inspired by somes American thrash metal bands (Metallica, Slayer, Sodom, Megadeth), a little better by the groove metal (Chimaira, Lamb of God, Pantera) and extreme metal music (Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, Emperor) decided to create a group that has as its aim to create original music, fun and technical at the same time. The lineup for the first time included Simone Tempesta on drums, Fabrizio Losapio on vocals, Roberto Castorrini on guitar and vocals and Alessandro Trotto on guitars.

Sinking

There are 2 bands with the name “Sinking”: 1. Sinking are a nu-gaze rock band from Somerset, England. Formed in late 2010 for a local "Battle of the Bands" competition, they spent over a year nameless, writing only a handful of tracks and rarely playing together due to outstanding commitments. Lamb of God

The roots of Lamb of God were planted in the year 1990, when Mark Morton, Chris Adler and John Campbell were floor mates at Virginia Commonwealth University. The trio began playing at Adler's house in Richmond weathering chilly conditions. "There was no heat in the house," recalls Campbell. "We would hang around the kerosene heaters, get really drunk and write metal songs. Fumes and Black Label beer were definitely what fueled our early days."

WAR DANCE

In the aftermath of English Dogs, Graham "Gizz" Butt and some others formed War Dance, who released the "None But The Brave" and "Short Sharp Shock" casettes and then vanished. They played intricate punk music heavily influenced by metal (as with anything Gizz played guitar on) and post-punk.
