Meow Meow

There are more than one artist who go by the name "Meow Meow." 1) Shortwave radio squeals, Beatles-esque tape loops and healthy doses of analog knob-twiddling all underscore the pure-sugar pop tones of Snow Gas Bones. Meow Meow exists somewhere between Brill Building tradition and grandpa's pre-war 78 rpms played with a broken stylus. With hypnotic visual projections, all members sharing vocal duties and swapping instruments, they've brought their kaleidoscopic live shows up the west coast, down to SXSW and soon to the UK and Japan.

St. Mtn, 777 was 666, Animal Disguise, and Skulltones.

Micachu and the Shapes

Micachu and The Shapes revolves around Mica Levi AKA Micachu. Their debut album Jewellery was released on Rough Trade Records on March 9th. The Shapes is comprised of Marc Pell (Drums) and Raisa Khan (Keybords, electronics and percussions). The band formed in 2008 in London and released their debut single "Lone Ranger" in May 2008, followed by "Golden Phone" in August of 2008. So, a quick introduction, Björk is said to be a fan of Micachu and can probably identify with another artist brave enough to take pop music into entirely uncharted territory.

Trim The Barber

Once upon a visit to the local gentlemen’s hair salon, it was noticed that the barbers hair was itself, lank, overgrown and listless. "I'll be damned if I'm going to allow this atrocity the privilege of cutting my hair", I thought to myself. I went out and bought myself a pair of stainless steel scissors that very day. And thus it was that the barber became the trimmed... Trim the Barber formed in London, UK in February 2009 from members of Running Riots, Bin Drinkers, Seven Days Later and Federal Threat.

The Dream Syndicate

There are two groups known as The Dream Syndicate: 1. The Dream Syndicate was a guitar-driven band from L.A. from 1981 to 1989, originally associated with the music movement. While attending the University of California, Davis, Wynn and Smith played together (with future True West members Russ Tolman and Gavin Blair) in The Suspects. Moving back home to Los Angeles, Wynn recorded a single under the name 15 Minutes (as in “of fame”) as his intended farewell to music. He did not follow that course.
