The First Loves

The First Loves are London based Christian Ford, Tom Ramona and Steven Weston. The band has its roots in West Yorkshire where lead singer Christian and his younger brother Alex started writing songs together. Relocating to London in 2008, they met Swedish born bassist Tom, and Ladyhawke keyboardist Steven. Bonding over a love of Echo & The Bunnymen, Bowie and Lo-Fi DIY ethics, they started writing and recording tracks together in Steven’s basement.

Sweet Jesus

There is more than one artist called Sweet Jesus. 1. A hardcore band from MA/RI. Members play/have played in other bands. Demo available here. An EP will be released on BBB sometime in 2012. 2. Sweet Jesus was a promising Shoegazer band, strongly influenced by latter-day My Bloody Valentine, but with a distinctive pop sensibility all its own. They released a 45 and three EPs in the early '90s, filled with accomplished music which was well received by those fans of the style who discovered them but went entirely unnoticed otherwise.

Biography
"We bring you Spectral Park’s debut full-length under the auspices of pop brainchild Luke Donovan, who played all of the music (and records) on the record. These are songs borne from the trash, literally sourced from a box of records the Southampton multi-instrumentalist found on a walk by a council block’s curbside garbage.

Mineral

"Mineral" could refer to at least four bands, an emo band from Houston, Texas, Armenian rock music veterans from Jermuk and another one from Boston. 1) Mineral formed in 1994 and like other young bands, they toured constantly, virtually living in their van. The band's first release, the 7 inch "Gloria"/"Parking Lot" 7", was released on Audio Concept by Kerry McDonald from Christie Front Drive (the record was later re-released by Caulfield Records). Through a few rabid fans, that 7" found its way into the hands of crank! and Mineral later decided to release their records on the label.
