The Stopouts

The Stopouts were formed in 2006 after Al and Dejan saw ska legends The Toasters play a gig in a total dive on a scummy industrial estate near Liverpool, supported by pathetic ‘chaos’ and ‘rape’ metal bands. They decided a ska revival was needed on Merseyside to counter the prevailing influence of dire metal bands and arsehole indie wannabes. Recruiting Rob on drums, they started playing a few covers, before quickly moving to original material with the arrival of vocalist Tom and Anna on saxophone.

Willy Moon

With only 21 years, Willy Moon already rolled halfway around the world and was finding its musical references on these trips. Born in Wellington (New Zealand) went to Europe with 18 years and ran there until finally finding home in London. Like the artist, his music travels a lot. With free-spirited and spontaneous, he defines it as "A sort of Bo Diddley remixed by Swizz Beatz." In fact, the sound of this man can be considered retro, but without resorting to any move to some kind of redemption.

Marnie

MARNIE machen ROP-MUSIK aber...
"WHO THE F*** IS MARNIE?" „Irgendwann haben wir dieser Stimme im Bauch, die unsere Energie entfacht, den Namen MARNIE gegeben“, so die Sängerin (L)emmy, das quirlige Sprachrohr der jungen Berliner Band. Und das, was die vier Musiker unter diesem Namen vereinen, scheint sie genau in die richtige Richtung zu führen!
