There are five artists called ION. (1)ION (correctly: Íon) is a new project of ex-Anathema, Duncan Patterson.
Duncan Patterson career traces back to the early 90's, when he began his musical incursions as a member of Anathema, a group that would pioneer and remain as forerunners of the unique Doom Metal genre throughout that decade.
Patterson would later also become involved with Antimatter, a project which would find him developing his age-old talent for emotional and atmospheric song-writing into new formats...

Void

Void is name to many different artists. Early 80's hardcore punk band closely linked to the Washington D.C. scene but actually hailing from nearby Columbia, Maryland. Often credited as one of the first bands to successfully fuse hardcore and heavy metal, this was mostly due to guitarist Bubba Dupree's unique playing style that somehow managed to merge the reckless abandonment of punk with the technical riffing of metal.

Fearsome Engine

Fearsome Engine is turbo-charged, pedal to the metal, full-on psychedelic, furious fun-loving, nitrous-igniting, mind-expanding, combusting consciousness, nucleonic, slabathonic, accelerator generator, driving force beyond the within, Fearsome Engine is the mutant hybrid creation of Laughing Buddha and Tristan; two of the most long standing and respected artists on the psychedelic trance scene.

Prometheus

Several artists are using the name "Prometheus": 1. Producer Benji Vaughan aka Prometheus is one of Twisted records leading trance acts. Along with Tristan and Hallucinogen he forms the forefront of the international trance scene, playing gigs as Prometheus, and Younger Brother with Simon Posford all over the world, from Greece to Japan, Finland, Denmark, Mexico, and the USA. Black and White

For the psytrance artists go to the Black & White page and fix your tags. The band went under the name “First Love” and performed at the Hemmens Auditorium Battle of the Bands. The band took first place and won “cash plus recording time”. As time went on the band changed its name to “Black and White” and soon became very popular on the Illinois Club Circuit. Tristan

Tristan Cooke again is a face that only needs to be introduced to those new on the circuit. He has been DJing and producing all over the world for at least ten years, with two albums under his belt 'Audiodrome' and 'Substance' and a third 'Chemisphere' coming shortly on Twisted Records. Sadly with the advent of Tristan's tinnitus problem, his Dj sets are few and far between, but he still plays 'live' on a regular basis as its the use of headphones makes matters worse.
