Matt Allaby is a trance producer from Manchester in the UK. His unique sound has been forged through his background in the acid house scene in the 'Madchester' nineties and the years following where Matt played his part in the beginnings of the Northern psytrance scene.
He was a resident dj and co-promoter of the 'Sunrise' party in Manchester from its creation in 1997. This became a launch pad for his studio work which first saw fruition on Spiral Trax in 2002.
Before discovering dance music Matt played drums in bands of various styles from the age of 11.

Mumbo Jumbo are Mitch Davies a.k.a Dj Kuma, and William Bryan Halsey a.k.a Bilbo Bagginz a.k.a Cosmosis. Both are british and well known for their works for Transient, Turbo Trance, Phantasm and other respectable record psy-companies. In 2003 their only album Speaking In Tongues was released. It was nice combination of goa, tribal and funky psy-sound with distinct touch of intellegent english psy-style.
The Digital Blonde is a very talented hard trance producer/remixer who also responds to the slightly more mundane name of Ricky Smith. After releasing a batch of singles on the Perfect World label around the turn of the century, he's now a favourite of superstar DJ John 00 Fleming and is currently often to be found on the J00F label.
OOOD - How deep can you bleep? OOOD (aka. Out Of Our Depth) are 4 blokes from England whose mission is to have a good time, spread a little joy and write some blinding psy-trance in the process. Originally formed in 1994 by Colin Bennun, Nigel Bradbury and Stephen Callaghan, the current line-up is Colin, Steve and new members (but old friends) Ramsay Melhuish and Ryokan Potier. As well as being talented DJs they bring an extra live element to OOOD's live shows, adding live drums, percussion, guitar and psychedelia.

Success came early for this well-traveled DJ, with high-profile residencies up and down the country, and an invitation to join the elite ranks of hard-dance super label, Nukleuz. More accolades were to come, and Mixmag Future Hero status soon followed, having impressed the judges up and down the country with her exciting and technically precise sets. Always on the lookout for new inspiration, DJ/producer Caroline's sound and style have evolved constantly from her early clubbing days in London...
Lurk has been listening to electronic music since his first party, an Orb album launch party in 1993; he discovered psytrance about a year and a half after that and bought decks in '96, initially because all the best music was on vinyl. When vinyl started to die out, he invested in cdj's and went on from there. Lurk's taste in music covers a large section of psytrance (as you can see from the tracklists below), from progressive morning music to screaming, dark night music. What he plays at a party depends very much on what time it is, and the mood of the crowd.
