Producers such as Steve Rachmad, Samuel L Session and Robert Hood were drawing his attention, and their influence can be heard in his production work today.

Void
Void is name to many different artists. Early 80's hardcore punk band closely linked to the Washington D.C. scene but actually hailing from nearby Columbia, Maryland. Often credited as one of the first bands to successfully fuse hardcore and heavy metal, this was mostly due to guitarist Bubba Dupree's unique playing style that somehow managed to merge the reckless abandonment of punk with the technical riffing of metal.
