During the Great Depression of the 30
After a scant two years kicking around Miami and DJing scattered gigs

Future Collective, got his hands on production software, and from there, it
was only a matter of months before labels and listeners alike fell for
the Venezuelan producer's singular brand of intensely syncopated
minimalism. Inspired as much by Latin bandleaders like Cheo Feliciano

Biography 1996 - 2003
This is our band-history . . . By Riccardo Ricci PART.1 (1996-1999) Reprisal started out in september '96 from the ashes of a band called Statement, which just released a pretty good demo the year before. Because of that we already had a deal with Cycle Records to record for a split 7" with a band from Parma called Greed. Both me (Riccardo-guitar) and Alex Massa (the singer) were in that band. So we decided to call it quit and move on to a new project mostly because of a band-member who was slowly losing any dignity by falling into fascists behaviours.

"Crazy" Cavan Grogan started out as "Screamin' Count Dracula & the Vampires", along with Lyndon Needs, Terry Walley and Gerald Bishop. Although they loved doing those first early gigs, the band was short-lived due to their young ages and no one having a driver's license. It was a good start, though, and encouraged by those who went to see them, they knew that, despite the media not playing it, Rock 'n' Roll wasn't dead and forgotten, and there were still thousands of kids out there who hadn't even heard of Jerry Lee Lewis, Gene Vincent or Johnny Burnette.
Free tracks can be downloaded at The Crowns website. Established in the heart of Amsterdam, The Crowns were built on the foundations of Dutch liberty and freedom. A shared passion for truly handcrafted music and a free environment strongly conductive to creativity led Valentine (vocals), Thomas (guitar) and Alex (keys) to craft the first royal rock prototype. Originally just intended for friends, the sound of The Crowns was nevertheless quickly picked up online by music enthusiasts.
Sex Gang Children is an early gothic rock group that formed in the early 1980s in Britain. They were a very dramatic band, relying on heavy bass, tribal drumming, sudden mood shifts, a woozy cabaret ready sound that influenced the rise of the later dark cabaret scene, and yet another in a long line of goth singers with an odd, highly dramatic voice. Although the group only released one official album, their singles and various other tracks have been packaged into numerous collections, and they remain one of the better known bands out of the early goth scene.
