Grupa DEFENCE dolazi iz Tuzle. Nastala je u periodu 97-98 godine , kada počinje sa radom u sastavu Elmir Dumanjić (vokal) , Saša Kovačević (gitara) , Amir Kurtić (bas) , Jasmin Dervišević (bubanj) , i počinju sa vježbanjem u OAC-u u Tuzli. Muzika koju je tada svirao DEFENCE bila je najbliža hard-core-u , a ova postava zabilježila je i par lokalnih nastupa. Poslije kratkog perioda grupi se pridružuje Edo Maajka , kao novi vokal uz Elmira D. i muzički stil grupe se mijenja. Novi sastav počinje sa aktivnim radom i u ovoj postavi snima prve demo snimke.

This is definitely something for all those into fast hardcore, as well as riot grrrls sounds and tradition of the 80's swedish hc/punk. Amira Medunjanin is a singer from Bosnia & Herzegovina, who records as Amira. Coming from Sarajevo, she's a performer in the sevdah tradition. Amira was born at a time when the popularity of traditional music in the former Yugoslavia was at high tide, and sevdah held a special place for her. For her, sevdalinke were the most beautiful of songs. Amira’s fascination with the beauties of the oral tradition of Bosnia and Herzegovina led her to devote herself to creating a special artistic language, a language which was not subject to new musical fashions, or compromised to fit existing models.
