Sinking Cruise Ship Rescue Drama are a post-rock band from London, UK, consisting of Samson Walton, Mark van der Vord (guitars), henry scowcroft (bass), Rui Teimao (electronics) and Ruth Francis (drums).
They take their name from the London Evening Standard's front-page headline on the night of their first rehearsal (21 November 2007), whose accompanying story told of the evacuation of the stricken MS Explorer after she struck an iceberg in the Antarctic Ocean.
