This is gossip rock. It’s edgy, full-on bitching, harmoniously delivered by a feisty trio of sardonic sirens. Tumbling tunes stuffed full of perfect and primal tribal rhythms with buzzsaw bass, gyrating guitars and a dual-pronged lead vocal attack that’s guaranteed to get you singing and bopping along to their infectious DIY dancefloor ditties.

"They will cradle you in their arms and spin webs of thought that lift the swaddled listener out of the fray to be soothed awhile in the thoughts of another. They will remind you that the walls in your head don't belong to you, and excite your spirit in awkward moments of unabashed honesty, that warn you that you must walk into the woods to come out the other side. However, winter's almost gone, and there is room for things to germinate.

The Brownies

There are two bands called The Brownes: 1) A five-piece band from Norwich, England. Myspace "The tag 'pop punk' for one generation at least will always conjure up images of Blink 182 and Sum 41, yet the type of Pop Punk that The Brownies juggle up is far removed from this. It's shouty-faced pop punk that's pocketed Riot Grrrl's bite, and been trapped under an avalanche of glowing pop hooks on the escape.
