Madeon

Hugo Leclercq (born May 30, 1994), known by his stage name Madeon, is a self-described "electro-pop-house-whatever" producer from Nantes, France. Leclercq started composing music at the age of 11, and adopted a style under the name "Madeon" in 2010. In the fall of that year, at the age of just 16, he gained popularity for his award-winning remix of The Island by Pendulum which was praised by the likes of Skrillex and Pendulum front-man Rob Swire.

Spunky

Rafa Spunky is a spanish music producer and performer. He is well known for producing several techno/electronica spanish acts, but specially for being the backing vocals of Fangoria, in both studio albums and live concerts. He also released a couple of solo albums in english, and an album of cover songs under the name 'Popbitch featuring Spunky'. This year he released an EP entirely in spanish.

The Ting Tings

The Ting Tings are an alternative pop duo which formed in 2004 in Salford, England and consist of Katie White (vocals, guitar, bass drums) and Jules De Martino (drums, vocals). They have released four singles on their current label Columbia Records UK, including the single "That's Not My Name" which charted straight at Number 1 in the UK Singles Chart on 18 May 2008. The album "We Started Nothing" was released on 19 May 2008 and also charted at Number 1 in the UK.

Sex Gang Children

Sex Gang Children is an early group that formed in the early 1980s in Britain. They were a very dramatic band, relying on heavy bass, tribal drumming, sudden mood shifts, a woozy cabaret ready sound that influenced the rise of the later scene, and yet another in a long line of goth singers with an odd, highly dramatic voice. Although the group only released one official album, their singles and various other tracks have been packaged into numerous collections, and they remain one of the better known bands out of the early scene.

Natalia Kills

Natalia Cappuccini (born August 15, 1986), better known by her stage name Natalia Kills, is a British recording artist, songwriter, actress, and short-film director based in London and Los Angeles. Signed with Interscope Records, Kills is scheduled to release her debut studio album Perfectionist in April 2011. The first single taken from the album, Mirrors, was released digitally on 6 March 2011 in the UK although the single being released nearly a year ago in the rest of Europe and Canada. Kills has previously gone under the aliases Verbalicious and verbz.

POLYSICS

POLYSICS is a Japanese new wave/synth pop/punk/rock band, hailing from Tokyo. The band started in 1997, but got their big break in 1998 at a concert in Tokyo. They create high energy music, fusing conventional guitar music, with synthesized and computer generated sound to create a unique mixture of punk and electro-pop. Their song lyrics often consist of Japanese, English, or just plain gibberish. The band has been noted for their extremely energetic live performances and their wild gimmicky outfits.

Morgan Geist

This New Jersey native was initially inspired by England's take on the sound of Detroit, but eventually tracked techno back to its Motor City innovators. When he began listening to music, however, it was the sound of early-'80s synth heroes like Devo, Severed Heads and New Order alongside early hiphop, jazz and 60's Hindi film soundtracks. Geist released his first 12" (via Dan Curtin's innovative Metamorphic label) while studying at Oberlin College in 1994.
