Gyroscope

There are two bands with the name Gyroscope. The first is a / band from Perth, Western Australia formed in 1997 by Daniel Sanders (vocals, guitar), Zoran Trivic (guitar), Brad Campbell (bass), and Rob Nassif (drums). They recorded their first demo cassette, First, as Gyroscope Sunday in 1998, and took up playing regularly on the Perth live circuit whilst also finding time for work and school commitments. The second is a psychedelic jazz outfit from Quebec, Canada.

The Tigers

There are at least three bands with the name the Tigers. The most widely known of these are The Tigers (ザ・タイガース), who were Japan’s most popular band of the Group Sounds era. The group featured a singer named Kenji Sawada, and were signed to Watanabe Productions. The group was first named Funnys and was formed in 1966. They changed their name to "The Tigers" on their first TV performance on 15 November 1966. They appeared in several Japanese movies in the late 1960s.

Mhorgl

Mhorgl is a Melodic Black Metal from Western Australia and have slowly evolved into a very unique mix between Raw Black Metal with a handful of Melodic interludes or verses hence making them Experimental - to that context. They have odd structures and generally create an unconventional song style with an offbeat sound yet, a Melodic atmosphere. Originally conceived in 2004 as an extremely raw, monotone and violent Black Metal project, Mhorgl has slowly evolved becoming more epic in nature while retaining the aggression which will always be the basis of it's vision.

The Blackeyed Susans

The Blackeyed Susans are an Australian band, formed in Perth in 1989, based in Melbourne since 1992. They were initially a "holiday band" put together by David McComb in 1989 while The Triffids were in hiatus. It begins in the small Norwegian fishing town of Stavanger, as two members of The Bank Holidays spend their days playing badminton, enjoying fjords, and hanging out with Norwegian grandparents, all while listening to Norway's favourite musical sons Kings of Convenience. These factors result in a song, and the idea for a band whose primary occupation is vocal harmonies and melodies of the highest order.
