Beak

Back in the mid-14th century, Beak was willed into existence by a four-headed green dragon named Ricardo II the Powerful. The dragon was immediately pleased with his manifestation and began teaching the entity how to play guitar. The guitar is an extremely rare 14-string 8th century Mendosa Nomad model, boasting a 4 foot long fretboard equipped with strings woven from over 3000 bald eagle eggs. Beak immediately learned to wail savagely on the guitar, but to this day is no match to his master Ricardo II.

Artist Type:

Graze

The four members of Graze Grew up in different parts of the world, including the USA, Canada, Italy and the Netherlands. Now based out of the Netherlands, the band puts their diversity and different backgrounds into their original songs. Their music is partly influenced by the atmosphere, the feeling and catchy melodies from the eighties with bands such as The Police, The Cure and U2. On the other side, the band members are also inspired by the roughness, honesty and deepness of the music from the nineties, with acts such as Pearl Jam, Live and Skunk Anansie.

Artist Type:

Jasmin

With a name as elusive as the melodies that just hint in order to vanish, jasmin’s songs are revealing the possibilities of a minimal guitar trio. Sometimes jointly, sometimes in fierce competition, guitar, bass, drums and minimal electronics are spinning enticing textures. Those pleadings against the imperative of lyrics, you don’t have to call them post rock if you don’t want to. The deliberation annihilates itself by its sheer sustainability: On stage the guitarist frequently collides with the solid wall of bass and drums, disrupting it in feedback fever.
