Karol Szymanowski

Karol Maciej Korwin-Szymanowski (October 6, 1882–March 28, 1937) was a Polish composer and pianist. His style developed in three distinct stages, from a strong affinity with Richard Strauss, Alexander Scriabin and countryman Frédéric Chopin, to flavourings of the Orient, the Mediterranean, and the impressionism of Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel, to Polish folk music and the Eastern Church. Even when writing in a Polish idiom, Szymanowski far exceeded the established musical language of central Europe, and is remembered as an exotic outlier of 20th century music.

Coldair

Coldair is a solo project of a multi-instrumentalist Tobiasz Biliński known from the band Kyst. Acoustic and electric guitars combined with improvisation and gentle singing sum up to create minimalistic, intimate music and sound landscapes. Now defunct new wave / dance-punk / indie band from Bristol who were joined mid way through their career by Luke Fussell ex of Antiba. Luke Fussell and frontman Jim Dippie now make music as Neon Highwire with ex-Antiba member Steven Morgan. Luke & Jim's solo music can be found under the titles Hail! Perestroika and Novelty Music Scene respectively. The indefinite hiatus called after their final gig is expected to remain in place until they have that collective dream of storming the Thekla armed with nothing but back issues of Wire magazine and perseverance for a second time.

Riverside

There are three bands with the name Riverside: a Polish progressive rock band, an American 90s rock band and an American country rock band. 1. A progressive rock band from Warsaw, Poland, founded in 2001 by Mariusz Duda (bass guitar, vocal), Piotr Grudziński (electric guitar) and Piotr Kozieradzki (drums), who shared a love for progressive rock and heavy metal. Up to 2003 Jacek Mielnicki was playing keyboard in the band, but some conflicts led him to leave the band, and in the same year the new keyboardist Michał Łapaj joined.
