Huey Lewis & The News

Huey Lewis & the News is an Academy Award-nominated American band based in San Francisco, California. They had a run of hit singles during the 1980s and early 1990s, scoring a total of 19 top-ten singles across the US Billboard Hot 100, Adult Contemporary and Mainstream Rock charts. Their greatest success was with their number-one album, Sports. Their worldwide fame expanded when their recording of "The Power of Love" was featured as a key track in the 1985 movie "Back to the Future" (in which Lewis made a cameo appearance).

Thomas Lang

There are several artists by the name: 1. Thomas Lang (born August 5, 1967 in Vienna), is a Austrian drummer who is currently working with the Los Angeles based progressive instrumental trio StOrk. Thomas took up drumming at the age of 5. In addition to lessons at local music schools and years of private tuition, Thomas also attended the Vienna Conservatory of Music. After leaving the conservatory in 1988, Lang began working professionally – working his way through the European Pop, Rock and Jazz scenes.

Dog Eat Dog made its big breakthrough in 1994 with the hit single No Fronts and the album All Boro Kings. The story behind Dog Eat Dog started a little earlier though... Dog Eat Dog has actually been around since 1990, when Dave Neabore and Sean Kilkenny decided to form a band of their own after previously playing in another band called Mucky Pup. A short while later Dave and Sean were accompanied by John Connor who was to act as the voice of the band and Dan Nastasi, who would play the second guitar.

Dirty F

Dirty F are a post punk/rock group from Melbourne, Australia, consisting of James Podhorodecki (vocals), Julian Medor (guitar), Tom Abraham (bass) and Darren Keane (drums). Their sound is described as raw, energetic and in-your-face. Dirty F released their debut EP in 2010 entitled "Washed Up" which was preceded by consistent headlining shows around the Melbourne bar scene. The band gained a reputation for unrelenting, high-energy shows, which occaisionally ruffled some feathers and led to the group being banned from playing at certain venues.
