Moonsorrow

Moonsorrow is a band formed in Helsinki, Finland, in 1995. Musically, the band incorporates elements of and in their sound. The band call their sound "" and try to distance themselves from the term "". The group's earliest formation consisted of cousins Ville Sorvali (vocals and bass) and Henri Sorvali (guitar and keyboards; also keyboards for Finntroll, Barathrum, and session member of Ensiferum) who released various demos that were much more characteristic of than future releases.

Stone

Two artists go by the name of Stone (some others go by the name The Stone): 1. Stone was a thrash metal band that formed in Kerava, Finland in the mid-1980s. It released four albums during the late 1980s and early 1990s, before disbanding in 1991 to pursue different musical directions. Stone reunited to play a final set of concerts in 2000, and then again in Sauna Open Air 2008 and Jurassic Rock 2008.

Tarot

Tarot is a heavy metal band from Kuopio, formed in 1985. While having enjoyed a broad underground popularity in Finland, the band has never been very famous elsewhere until gaining new success in the recent years when their singer Marco Hietala joined Nightwish in 2002. Tarot was originally formed by the Hietala brothers in the early 80's. Back then the band’s name was “Purgatory”. As Purgatory reached the point when they got the record deal, the label wanted them to change their name. Since then the band has been known as Tarot.

MyGrain

myGRAIN is a melodic death metal band from Helsinki, Finland. They are currently signed to Spinefarm Records. They have released three studio albums. myGRAIN saw daylight in the summer of 2004, as Tommy (vocals), Resistor (guitar) and Matthew (guitar) were standing in the ruins of their former band, New Science Band. The guys had been playing together since 1999 and their collaboration still worked well, so they decided to start a new band with this lineup.

CMX

CMX (short for Cloaca Maxima) is a Finnish group consisting of A.W. Yrjänä (vocals, bass), Janne Halmkrona (guitar) and Timo Rasio (guitar). Starting as an English language band, CMX eventually moved to a bit more conventional style of rock, even though their music could be described as somewhat experimental (at least when compared to the other Finnish mainstream rock groups). Known for Yrjänä's folklore-esque lyrics, riped with references to religion, mythology...

The whole story began in the year 2000. It was just another alcohol-fueled Friday night, and after a while the boys (Ville and Sakke) decided that the world needs another melodic metal band. There can never be enough those around. And since they had been playing in bands practically all their lives, they felt that this should be a piece of cake. After all,how hard can it be to form a band? A rehearsal was scheduled.

The Bleedout

The Bleedout is a young finnish metal band with four members, all of them under the 20's. The band was formed in 2004. They only use a single guitarplayer. It has been much debated as of how The Bleedout's music should be defined as, many rank them as metalcore, some as alternative metal. The Bleedout takes elements from many genres of metal and mixes them into their output, which is very "new school" in a way.

Beyond the Dream

Genre: Dark Metal ...a little bit information about Their name. Beyond the Dream was found in late of year 2001 when Harri and Ville decided to give a birth to a band where They can do everything They wanted to do in music. And so They did...at the time Their music was quite fast and blackmetal influented darkmetal. After two demo(n)s, Charmed for Love & Blessed in Grief (2002) and 13 Steps Away from Heaven (2003), and after seven recorded songs They have lost Their inspiration to do this.
