Catharina Hagen (born on March 11, 1955) is a singer from East Berlin, Germany. She's a daughter of well-known East German actress Eva-Maria Hagen and writer Hans Oliva-Hagen. They divorced 5 years later due to the rising success of Eva-Maria (called "East Germany's Brigitte Bardot") as an actress on stage and in films. When Catharina (Nina) was 10 years old Eva-Maria had a partnership with dissident song-writer Wolf Biermann (see links at the end).
Grace Potter & The Nocturnals are a young, Vermont-based band gaining national attention by selling out tours and stealing hearts of audiences across the nation. The band's original blend of roots, funky blues, soul, and rock conjures up a nostalgic sound most likely found in a record collection from the sixties and early seventies. The Harlem Gospel Choir was formed in 1986. It is a ministry and registrered charity. The choir are knowm as "ambassadors of Harlem" and travel the world, sharing their joy of faith & bringing about a better understanding of the African American culture as it relates to the black church. Each performance brings you anointed praise and worship singers and musicians, each of whom grew up singing and performing in their community church.
Christafari was founded in 1989 by songwriter, producer, and lead vocalist, Mark Mohr. Raised in a Christian family, Mark strayed from his Godly upbringing and, during his teens, became involved in hard drugs and alcohol. As an answer to many prayers, the Lord delivered Mark from his addictions at a Christian camp at the age of 17. After serious prayer, God impressed on his heart to start the first Christian reggae band in America.
A former member of the group, Undacova, Calvin Richardson's sound is mellow soul with a gospel singing style not copied by many of his peers. Calvin is also known as C-Rich to his fans. His debut solo album was 1999's 'Country Boy'. In 2003 he released his sophomore effort '2:35PM'. Calvin's third album, When Love Comes, was released in 2008.
Toshi Reagon (born in 1964) is an American folk/blues musician. She is the daughter of Sweet Honey In The Rock co-founder Bernice Johnson Reagon, with whom she has sometimes collaborated on musical projects.
