Originally from France but living in London since 1995, Fabienne Delsol has released 2 solo
albums since 2004, No time for sorrows and Between you and me, these LPs didn't take 3 years to record, but more like 3 weeks, just to put things right.
There in another release planned for 2009, and a short tour with the Dandy Warhols in the UK in december 2008.

1)Sniper is a French band composed of four sons of immigrants from the suburbs of Paris. The band was formed in 1997 under the name Personnalité Suspecte, but changed its name later. Many of the group's songs handle very political themes, such as the Israeli occupation of Palestine in Jeteur de pierre and a perceived injustice in the French political system in La France.

Tina Arena (born Filippina Lydia Arena on 1 November 1967, in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian singer and songwriter. Her career began at the age of seven when she was selected as a regular performer for the music television program Young Talent Time. As a child Arena attracted attention for the power of her voice, which was considered remarkable for such a young child. She was born to Italian parents and has a sister, Nancy (born 1961). Often billed as "Tiny Tina Arena", she was seen on weekly television singing and dancing the current pop hits.

The Lucky Devils

The Lucky Devils were born in Lille (France, 59) in 1999. Ricky (Drums) and Phil (Guitar and vocals) met Vivien (Slap Bass) to form a band inspired by different styles of Rock (Rock'n'Roll, Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Surf, Garage etc.). They blended into a unique style that’s in fact a powerfull but melodious style half way between hard Neo-Rockabilly and Psychobilly. 90% of the songs they play are originals by the band and the covers are played in their very own style, so you couldn’t say who sang them before.

LoLo

There are at least 3 artists with the name Lolo: 1) Lolo, real name Lauren Pritchard, is an artist based in Brooklyn. She hit the ground running as Lolo with “Weapon for Saturday”, produced by Mark Batson who’s previously collaborated with Dr Dre and Eminem 2) The Lolo alias refers to a trance music producer, whose real name is Laurent Véronnez. He is better known as Airwave, but he works also under many other pseudonyms.

The Shoes

There are five artists known as The Shoes: 1) A couple of guys from France, responsible for some absolute electro club bangers, who have been getting a fair bit of hype recently. Watch this space! 2)The Shoes (Dutch): "Na na na" is not only the title of one of their most famous singles, it is also the name of this compilation disk. It gives you a good impression of the world of The Shoes in the late 60's and early 70's. Originally they called themselves The White Shoes, which was in 1963. Theo van Es (vocals) left the band for a solo career in 1978.

Created at the end of the year 99, ARCANIA was constituted by 3 13-year-old childhood friends sharing the same dream; a common future in music. Cyril, Gabriel and Guillaume recorded their first demos and played on their first stages, looking to spread their name for more than 4 years. But every dream has its end and Gabriel's tragic loss in 2003 sink the rest of the group brutally into adulthood. Gabriel was only 16 years old .

(2) A British experimental band founded by William Bennett, who would later go on to form the very influential band Whitehouse.
(1) Come was also an American indie rock band from 1990-2001. Come was formed in Boston, Massachusetts by Thalia Zedek (vocal, guitar), Chris Brokaw (guitar, vocal), Arthur Johnson (drums), and Sean O'Brien (bass).

Ben L'oncle Soul

Benjamin Duterde (born 1984), a.k.a. Ben L'Oncle Soul ('Ben the Soul Uncle'), is a French nu-soul singer from the town of Tours. Duterde first gained prominence in his home country with the Soul Wash EP (2009), which featured six covers of songs by Gnarls Barkley, Spice Girls, Katy Perry and, most notably, The White Stripes (Seven Nation Army). Ben's first full-length album, entitled simply Ben l'Oncle Soul was released in the summer of 2010 and was put out internationally on the Motown label.
