Crazy Town

Crazy Town is a hip-hop/rock band formed in Los Angeles, CA, USA in 1995 by Bret Mazur and Seth Binzer. The band is best known for their 2001 single, "Butterfly", which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Members of the band mix elements of hip-hop and rock but are mainly alternative hip-hop. As a group, they have released two studio albums, The Gift of Game and Darkhorse. Their debut album was certified Platinum by the RIAA.

Sheila Escovedo is the daughter of percussionist Pete Escovedo, with whom she frequently performs. Sheila E's uncle is Alejandro Escovedo, formerly with Delphine Neid's first-wave punk rock group The Nuns, Rank and File and The True Believers, followed by a solo career. The late Tito Puente was Escovedo's godfather. She is also niece to Javier Escovedo, founder of seminal San Diego punk act, The Zeros. Another uncle, Mario Escovedo, fronted long-running indie rockers, The Dragons. Escovedo is of Mexican, African American, and Creole heritage. Coke Escovedo was also her uncle.

Shorts

The Shorts was a pop group from the Netherlands consisting of Hans Van Vondelen (vocals), Erik De Wildt (keyboard), Hans Stokkermans (bass guitar) and Peter Wezenbeek (drums).
The group was formed in 1976, and scored a 1983 international hit with "Comment ça va" - a song about a boy who meets a french girl but they cant understand each other.

Willem Dafoe

The big WD was birthed back like this in 2000 when four good grade 10 buddies decided to play some metal. We went through some really shitty names and some really shitty eps, but finally settling on Willem Dafoe a year later. Willem Daband has remained a great hobby for its permanent lineup, usually busy with other shit but still finding time to play a couple shows a year and record some tunes. We've grown up in WD and it's grown along with us; from old Hydrahead style metalcore...
