The Outsiders

There are several artists named The Outsiders (11 are mentioned here): (1) The Outsiders were a sixties beat band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Formed in 1960 as a neighbourhood band from Amsterdam East, The Outsiders became one of the most succesful Dutch groups of the 1960s. They made some lastingly great records and never recorded anyone else's material, with singer Wally Tax writing the lyrics and guitarist Ron Splinter the music for nearly all of the twelve 45s and three LPs they made.

Originally known as John Barrett's Bass Drum of Death (first EP was released with that name), the band is now John + Colin, based in Oxford, Mississippi.

Artful Dodger

Songwriting duties were handled by band members guitarist Gary Herrewig and vocalist Billy Paliselli, along with guitarist and vocalist Gary Cox. His group’s next albums where ‘Aztecs – Live’ (recorded at Melbourne Town Hall) and ‘Aztecs Live – At Sunbury’. The rise to popularity of this Aztecs coincided with the liberation of liquor regulations in Melbourne, bringing rock and roll out of the dances and clubs, and into the pubs. Despite or because of their volume, The Aztecs became the premier pub attraction.

Andre Williams (born Zephire Andre Williams in Bessemer, Alabama, on November 1, 1936) is an American R&B and punk blues musician who started his career in the 1950s at Fortune Records in Detroit. Some sources believe that Williams is the long-lost brother of Screamin' Jay Hawkins, a blues musician whose song "I Put A Spell On You" landed on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll charts.
