Howlin' Circus

“Conjuring images of cattle ranching in the Summer, Howlin’ Circus combine raucous guitars with melodic vocals, tales of trepidation and unexpected harmonies. Shedding leaves on London’s Autumnal high it wasn’t until the Winter that the band formed, after co-writers Jamie Harper and Jafar Hassan brought forth their love for blues, rock ‘n’ roll and poetry. Young Prisms

Young Prisms is a San Francisco psychedelic/garage/beach-pop band, influenced by the California coast, Charlton Heston, and late night spiritual pow wows. They recorded their self-titled EP in the living room of their apartment in the first half of 2009. On this first spaced-out EP, the band strands its listeners in the solitude of a beach fireworks display with nothing but lights for the tongue and acid for the ears--arresting, colors everywhere.

SixFtHick

Sleazy but wry, cowpunk / hard rock that has some similarities to bands like Nashville Pussy and The Cramps but is more tongue-in-cheek. Know for their ferocious live shows, SixFtHick, portray their hometown, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia as if it was a separate country, with co-lead singer Geoff Corbett playing the role of a parochial Boss Hogg. The other singer, his brother, Ben Corbett plays the role of a disturbed Iggy Pop with an emphasis on physical self abuse.

Bubblegum Screw

Take a bit of Max's Kansas City New York sleaze and mix it in with the primeval brutality of Iggy & the Stooges, the seedy glamour of 1970s glitter-trash and the caveman stomp of sixties garage rock and you've got a group that's on a take-no-prisoners rock'n'roll mission. Seeing them on stage for the first time, you'll think you're actually looking at Johnny Thunders, Dee Dee Ramone and Stiv Bators rocking out once again.
