Instruments (Make Music)

Instruments (Make Music) are a four piece math-pop band from South & East London and Essex, consisting of Ashley Davies (guitar/vocals), Stacey Conway (bass/vocals), Rob Wolfenden (guitar) and Matt Hill (Drums). They make precise yet unconstrained math pop, it’s bouncy, fun but hiding in the closet there's a slice of drama which can't help but rear its little head from the midst of chirpy melodies.

Boy 8-Bit

Boy 8-bit; a young and upcoming producer famous for his infectious "bleep" electro-styled tracks inspired by the computer games of old. Boy 8-Bit's name hails from the days of old. Using an Amiga computer to produce in his youth, he dealt in 8-bit samples and hence the name. Although still relatively unknown, his EP "Suspense is Killing Me" received great critical claim on the underground Electro/Synth circuit.

8 bit

There are many artists that share this name. 1. 8-bit is an alias of Naoki Maeda. 2. From Highland Park, California via a galaxy far away comes hip-hop crazies 8-bit. Both producers and recording artists, 8-bit taps into old school video games, not old-school records to create their own ghetto-electro chip music. Eclectic superstar Beck hand picked 8-bit to craft the sound of his Gameboy Variations EP - the #1 iTunes album of the week upon its debut. 8-bit tracked, mixed, and produced the tracks to create "Ghettochip Malfunction (Hell Yes)" and Gameboy/Homeboy (Que Onda Guero).

Meneo

Meneo is pure gameboy reggaetón and electro-dancehall along vocoders and keytars, which are the weapons of choice for *MeNeO*'s deep, flavoured, latin rhythms that are accompanied by Entter's VJ "Fruity Booty" and his made-to-measure vjing application that's been the envy of many at several video art festivals. The MENEO performance investigates artistic concepts that imply the surprising and unforeseeable, accidents, mistakes and coincidences as a means to alter the dynamics of creative performance and to discover new aesthetic presentations.

Datassette

The Datassette project is a series of electronic music recordings by John M Davies, and as the name would suggest there is a heavy influence of the C64 SID Chip at work here. The Datashat Project is a pseudonym used for dodgy bastard pop remixes and DJ appearances. This description as well as free mp3's can be found at http://www.datassette.net.
