The Fumes
1.) Compelling Sydney two-piece, The Fumes burst onto the scene in 2004. The Fumes deliver multi-facetted stylistic raw blues tunes mashed with healthy rock riffs and snappy beats. Steve Merry (Vocals, Guitar) spent 12 months in the U.S where he took on some mentoring from Bob Brozman and an opportunity to immerse himself with many styles of music. It helped define and develop The Fumes. The Fumes complete with the addition of Joel Battersby, who had been drumming with members of The Beautiful Girls, proceeded to churn out an 8-track demo.

Dougie Greig
Dougie Greig is a solo singer songwriter who is, and deserves to be held, in the highest regards by all who have listened to him and seen him play. Jimmy Wahlsteen plays guitar using his very own personal fingerpicking technique and sound over inovative open tunings. The self produced instrumental album "181st Songs" contains multitrack recorded material with expressive guitar arrangements and brilliant guest musicians. The core of all songs is the acoustic guitar mixed and enhanced with percussion, strings and lots of additional guitars. The arrangements and productions of the songs are pop inspired. Jimmy leaves the fusion genre unexplored and brings his inspiration in songwriting from artists like Paul Simon and John Martyn.

Great Big Sea (often shortened to GBS) is a Canadian folk-rock band from Newfoundland and Labrador, best known for performing energetic rock interpretations of traditional Newfoundland folk songs. The band also performs original material. On March 11, 2010, Great Big Sea celebrated their seventeenth birthday as a band. And like almost every one of their many anniversaries spent together, they celebrated it by playing a concert, this one in Omaha, Nebraska.
