Alessio Ballerini

Alessio Ballerini, sound designer and electroacoustic musician, uses a computer and other devices to create experimental, electroacoustic, minimalist and multi-stratified sounds.
He explores real and imaginary landscapes by using field recordings, guitar, piano and digital composition, so that the sound finds its beauty in the harmonic ambient substrate.
He has been a member of the cinematographic group Postodellefragole since 2004. In 2009, together with Pietro Baldoni, he created Abellira, a production studio for soundtracks, sound locations and sound design for multimedia products.

Robert Curgenven (1974) works with harmonics, textures and resonance as articulated not only through instruments/objects, in space and place, but also in time and the dislocation of the remote, exploring slowly shifting layers in the fabric of fields of perception. Creating vast landscapes from carefully detailed recordings through to immersive resonances via deft manipulations of sound pressure - described by one audience member as “like a punch in the face while elsewhere flowers bloomed.“

There are 3 bands named Es. Es (Sami Sänpäkkilä) is the founder of the Finnish underground record label, Fonal Records. His music explains pretty much what most of Fonal Records' music is about: experimenting with sounds, bound together by free-folk ambient and occasional huge drones. Sami is a musician, film-maker and the head of Fonal Records. Sami's fourth musical solo release is the “Sateenkaarisuudelma” double LP released by the Belgian (K-raa-k)3 records on 1st November 2005. It was finally released as a 2CD edition due to popular demand.

The Silence is a name of at least eight acts: 1) An Orange County, CA, USA alternative rock band, which has been creating relationships with audiences across the USA, since 2004. AER is Jon Wozencroft. Designer, freelance writer, editor and programme-maker Jon Wozencroft co-founded the Touch multimedia project in 1981. He is famed for his design work for Touch and others, such as R&S, Sub Rosa, Ash International and Swim. A frequent collaborator with designer Neville Brody, he helped set up the Brody Studio in 1987, and later authored two volumes of "The Graphic Language of Neville Brody". Alongside Brody, he founded the FUSE project - a series of conferences and multimedia publications about the changing state of digital language.

Creature With the Atom Brain

Creature with the Atom Brain is a Belgian alternative rock band consisting of Millionaire keyboardist Aldo Struyf (Guitar/Keys/Vocals), Dave Schroyen (Drums), Jan Wygers (Bass) and Michiel Van Cleuvenbergen (Guitar). The band have been said to make "fuzzy stripped-back rock’n'roll noise with a generous helping of weird." The band's name is taken from the Roky Erickson & the Aliens song (which in turn was taken from the 1955 film of the same name), with Struyf citing Erickson's former band the 13th Floor Elevators and the man himself as influencing Creature with the Atom Brain's sound.

Nadja refers to two different bands: 1- Nadja is Aidan Baker (guitars/vocals/piano/woodwinds/drum programming) and Leah Buckareff (bass/vocals). Originally formed in 2002 in Toronto as a solo project, the now-duo creates ambient drone metal, combining ambient electronics and fragmentary vocals with snail-crawl, epic riffs and dirge-like percussion, all tempered with a certain ethereal melodicism such that the listener is enveloped in a swirling, sublimating wall of amorphous, cacophonous sound....
