Graham Dunning is a sound and visual artist based in the UK. His sound sources include field recordings pressed to dubplates; modified records; adapted playback equipment such as reel-to-reel tape players, turntables and Walkmans; found sounds, especially discarded footage of people's home recordings; home made electronics; broken cymbals and other metal objects; and inexpensive delay units.
The recordings themselves take influence from minimalism, turntablism, sound art, noise, musique concrete and ambient music.
1- Shazam (not to be confused with band The Shazam) is producer Cameron Parkin from Perth, Western Australia. Getting releases pressed to vinyl since he was 16, his current output is somewhat along the lines of French House and Electro-Funk (in the truest/purest sense of the terminology). 2- Shazam is a German eurodance project produced by Graham Bonney, Andreas Herchenbach and Guido Scheffler.
Shazam released the singles "No Guarantee" and "Baby Baby Baby".
There are four artists that go by the name Portable: 1.) Alan Abrahams AKA Portable AKA Bodycode has been in motion his whole life—growing up in South Africa, coming of age in London, decamping to Berlin and finally settling in Lisbon—and his deeply syncopated brand of electronic dance music has evolved with every step of the journey. His formative years were spent in an impoverished Cape Town township ironically tagged “Beverly Hills”, and to the backbeat of the first wave of Chicago house records he emerged out of the ruins of a post-apartheid South Africa.
