Kurt Vile & the Violators

Kurt Vile & the Violators are a rock band from Philadelphia PA, United States. The band draws influences from lo-fi, psychedelic and classic rock. Founded by frontman Kurt Vile (guitar, vocals), the band currently consists of Jesse Turbo (guitar, slide), Mike Zeng (percussion) and Adam Granduciel (guitar, bass). Kurt and Adam have played music together ever since the early 00's with each one contributing to the other's projects, most notably in The War on Drugs which is fronted by Granducial.

Spooky Tooth

Spooky Tooth was an English progressive rock band from the late 1960s. They faded into obscurity afterwards, facing problems similar to The Band, in that they were more popular among fellow musicians and industry insiders than with the general public, though they still have quite a few devoted fans.
They formed in October 1967, out of a combination of The Ramrods (1960 - late 1963), The V.I.P.'s (late 1963 - April 1967) and Art (April - October 1967). The line-up changed several times, but typically was:

Here & Now

There is more than one artist who has used the name 'Here & Now': Here & Now are an influential English Psychedelic/space punk band, formed in early 1974. They have close connections with the band Gong and in 1977/1978 worked with Gong's Daevid Allen and Gilli Smyth under the name Planet Gong, which released one (live) album "Floating Anarchy 1977" and one single "Opium for the People". Twink Malone and Kif-Kif were respectively the original synthi player and drummer with Here & Now in 1974 and Steffe joined them, along with Keith the bass, at the Watchfield free festival of August 1975.

Matadors

1) Swedish Stoner rock/tango/country/punk rock act. From the ashes of legendary stonerrock act Ridge - who recieved 4K/ 5 in Kerrang for their debut album, Matadors have become a monster reactivating the rock industry! The band has existed since fall 2001, and when Andreas Bergström (vocals and Fender Telecaster Custom guitars) and Jonas Jönsson (drums, percussion, keys) accomplished with the bass player/singer Johan Anderberg from world famous Deranged and Murder Corporation, the band was completed.

Okta Logue

As Okta Logue prepare for the release of their third studio album the influence of their own side projects is becoming apparent. Rollergirls; powerchording energetic postrock and the Benno Herz Band; a somewhat more relaxed indi folk creation are being gently folded into the Progressive, Psychedelic tones of Okta Logue to create something quite unique. Okta Logue was formed by Benno Herz, Robi Herz and Philip Meloi 3 years ago as Zapphire Okta Logue but, with the addition of the fourth member Nicolai Hildebrandt, the band found their sound and a new name.

Dark Quarterer

The original group was formed in 1974 in Piombino and was called "Omega erre". Eight years of playing cover followed with no concerts or performances, but a continuous effort to capture the sounds and colours of the hard and progressive rock of those years.
It was an absolute imperative for the band to reproduce the songs faithfully - they played dozens of covers of Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Krokus, Grand Funk Railroad, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, Gentle Giant, Genesis...

4. An indie rock band from Mexico 1) Polish electronica-downtempo duo consisting of Patrycja Hefczynska (vocalist/writer) and Jacek Dojwa (composer/producer). Their music is influenced by such artists as Björk, Craig Armstrong, Amon Tobin, Telefon Tel Aviv, Portishead and Lamb. They released two LP's: "Czy słyszysz?" (eng. Do you hear) in 2002 and "Zgadnij" (eng. Guess) in 2006.

Dungen

Dungen (Swedish: "the grove", pronounced [ˈdɵŋən]) is a Swedish rock band based in Stockholm. Often classified as psychedelic rock, Dungen is also influenced by Swedish (and other) folk music, classic rock, progressive rock and indie rock. The band is fronted by singer/composer Gustav Ejstes, who writes all music and plays the majority of instruments on the band's records. Despite this, Dungen plays live as a four-piece.
