J-Live
J-Live was born and raised in Uptown Manhattan, New York City. After making a home for himself in Brooklyn upon graduating from SUNY at Albany, J relocated to Philadelphia in 2003. "Moving to Philly was more for the family than any kind of career move. But the whole music scene here and the hip hop community here have embraced me with open arms since I arrived. I've gotten a lot of support from so many different artists and dee jays. This city is jam packed with talented and beautiful people."

Composed of 6 members: Nekfeu (or Fennek), Alpha Wann (or Phaal), Sneazzy, areno Jaz, Fonky Flav' and Dj Lo. It is part of the collective "L'Entourage". 2) 1995 are a Darkwave Pop band from Auckland, New Zealand, consisting of 5 members; Adrian Bird (Guitar/BV), Matt Offord (Vocals/Keys), Dave Provan (Guitar), Jordan Puryer (Drums/BV) and Chris Washer (Bass). After exiting the McDonalds drive-in in his father’s Blue Chevet, happy meal in hand, his father turns to him with a grin, “Hey Kurtis, I have something you’re gonna love.” He pops a cassette into the tape player. As Kurtis eyes the illustration and lettering on the cassette cover, his father shares the title of the album, “Who’s Afraid of the Art of Noise”.
DJ Babu
DJ Babu (born Chris Oroc) is a Filipino-American DJ and is a member of a crew of DJs called the Beat Junkies, a group which includes others such as Melo D, DJ Rhettmatic, and J-Rocc. DJ Babu introduced the title "Turntablist" in order to differentiate what he was doing (scratching vinyl records) from more conventional aspects of DJ-ing. He is a member of the hip-hop group Dilated Peoples, along with Rakaa and Evidence.
Spooks
There are four artists by this name: 1. The Spooks: A late 90's HipHop/RnB-Band, similar to the Fugees. The group recorded "S.I.O.S.O.S., Vol. 1" in 1999 for Artemis Records. The album was a huge success in Europe but hardly made a dent in American markets. After attaining success throughout Europe with their record S.I.O.S.O.S., Vol. 1, Spooks garnered a hit with the single "Things I've Seen" (featured in the Laurence Fishburne film Once in the Life). Water-Water left the group before their second album Faster Than You Know and died in a car accident shortly before the album's release.

Bomb The Bass (formed 1987, in London, England) is the umbrella title for the output of British musician and DJ, Tim Simenon. The band, which has evolved its style over the years, has been classed as electronic or dance. Bomb the Bass was the creation of the British musician Tim Simenon. His first single "Beat Dis" from the album "Into The Dragon" was a number two hit in the uk and was one of the first songs to introduce the mainstream to sampling culture (along with songs by Paul Hardcastle, M/A/R/R/S and S'Express).
