Adultnapper

Adultnapper is a shadowy figure drawn from the dark reaches of Francis Harris’ imagination. Harris, a philosphy phD drop-out with punk rocker roots, hails from suburban Las Vegas but has called Brooklyn home for the past 9 years — a stretch in which he has gone from “hating dance music”, to establishing himself as an underground DJ/Producer with a unique sound and a global audience. In 2004, having achieved success as a DJ, Label Owner and Event Producer, Harris turned to the studio, intent on exploring new sonic territory, and adopting the Adultnapper moniker to represent his efforts.

Orcas

Orcas is a band by haze-pop auteur Benoît Pioulard and post-minimalist composer Rafael Anton Irisarri (also known as The Sight Below). Theirs is a style deeply rooted in personal variations on songform and ambient craft, and as a duo they bridge the furthest outlying aspects of their previous solo work published on Kranky, Touch, Miasmah, Room40, and Ghostly International. Charge Group

Sydney band Charge Group formed around 2005 and currently comprises three members of the now-defunct Newcastle outfit Purplene - vocalist/guitarist Matt Blackman (also of Tucker Bs), bassist Adam Jesson (The Instant), and drummer Matt Rossetti (The Instant). The fourth member is violinist/vocalist Jason Tampake (Firekites, Josh Pyke band), also originally from Newcastle.

Charge Group have been compared most often to The Dirty Three due to their strongly melodic, emotive, violin-inflected sound.

Babe Rainbow

Babe Rainbow is an experimental electronic artist based out of Vancouver, Canada. Warp Records has released two EPs: the Shaved EP in February of 2010 and Endless Path EP in June of 2011. Babe Rainbow will set out on his first European tour in November 2011.

Flashguns

An exciting London/Brighton quartet. Sam Johnston (Vocals and Guitar,) songwriter, fuses fast, disjointed tunes with dark, Audenesque lyrics and "plaintive vocals" (Steve Lamacq.) Rich, textural organ riffs (Oli Wright) lend a mysterious, almost haunting tone to the songs, Olly Scanlon's intricate bass lines are integral to the music whilst all the above is held together with time keeper Giles Robinson on drums adds the trade mark raw, lightening speed.

Morgan Geist

This New Jersey native was initially inspired by England's take on the sound of Detroit, but eventually tracked techno back to its Motor City innovators. When he began listening to music, however, it was the sound of early-'80s synth heroes like Devo, Severed Heads and New Order alongside early hiphop, jazz and 60's Hindi film soundtracks. Geist released his first 12" (via Dan Curtin's innovative Metamorphic label) while studying at Oberlin College in 1994.

BADBADNOTGOOD is pianist Matt Tavares, bassist Chester Stone Hansen, and drummer Alex Sowinski, who is usually seen wearing a pig mask. The trio met at Humber College in Toronto, Canada and bonded over their mutual musical interests—OFWGKTA, Gucci Mane, and Waka Flocka Flame.
