Keelhaul is a four piece math/sludge/instrumental/metal/whatever you wanna call em' band from Cleveland, Ohio. The members are Aaron Dallison (bass & vocals), Dana Embrose (guitar), Will Scharf (drums), and Chris Smith (guitar and vocals) They have variously described their music as "annoying" and "like post hardcore progressive acid rock".
Just as the Hunt Of The Unicorn was considered by many to be the high point in Medieval tapestry manufacture, so will history recognize the bearded magical animal metal of Wollongong's latest fantastical four headed Chimera, Totally Unicorn be considered to be the watermark for musicians that are both hirsute and technically gifted when it comes to bringing a party that is part wall of crushing noise, part pithy word play and all monstrously enjoyable.

From the conclusion of From the Dying Sky, The Secret was born in Trieste, Italy in 2003. Their sound "combines elements of hardcore, noise, metal, and post rock to create a dark, heavy yet dynamic sound topped by the noir and cryptic atmospheres of the lyrics." The Secret's music is a "complex and intense stream of consciousness which drives the listener through unexpected soundscapes." Tired of former bands and projects, five Berlin citizens formed War from a Harlots Mouth between the end of 2005 and spring 2006. They combine the technical elements of mathcore with deathcore and a blend of jazz. After releasing a Split-CD with Molotov Solution from Las Vegas on Twelve Gauge Records, the quintet signed to Lifeforce Records for the release of their full length debut album “Transmetropolitan” in 2007.
